Language, lenguaje, linguaggio, sprache, langue...
...is a gift whilever it allows us to communicate with each other, but can become a real problem for those who have another language. It is can unite us or divide us. As Churchill said of the Americans and The English "Two peoples divided by a common language". As you would see, here at Avaxhome we already have the important parts of the site (the categories) translated to Italian, but there are still many, many, more language translations of those, that we would like to have available. If you can help us with a translation of these parts (refer below) into YOUR native language, then please do and we will add it to the site.

Yes, you can object to this that menus can be easily read without any translations, but with all respect to international English, it is always comfortable to read text on your own language. ;-)

Dear Avaxteam I am surprised that there are no more comments in this section? Your efforts over the years have been fantastic and I am a big fan of your website. Language is indeed what combines and divides us - a curse as well as a blessing often in disguise. Personally I would like to give something back to you so if you ever need a translation in Deutsch, English or Nihongo that I am glad to help out. Thank you for all your support over the years.

I'm interested in translating into Spanish (neutral), as you may know there are a lot spanish regions and each one has subtle diferences from the others, so I'm interested in making a translation into a neutral spanish -as much as possible- so it can be understood from everywhere in the world.

Is there any template to translate from?, if so please let me know. Reading and translating from the interface itself would require more work, but working on a template on the other hand would be a bit more easy, I think.

COOL. I'm waiting for someone to translate this site into one of the virtually unspeakable African languages.

I know there's a computer alternative called Machine Code, so this is definitely possible.

Just think when you click on eBooks and eLearning all you'll is the screen go blank and through your speakers you'll hear some clicks and pops.

Nice idea, but i hope that will not blast the availability of this site into space (again)... I guess for most german speakers a translation would not be necessary, but it may be useful for people from countries where english is not part of the daily life.

Falta una que no estaba ayer "post news" ¿Cómo la traduces tú? ¿Envía Noticias?

Ayer envié lo mismo que has escrito, lo que pasa es que después de leer lo que escribiste sobre el español neutro, decidí esperar a ver si otro hispanohablante aportaba algo distinto.

congratulations for the picture. Are you really so ignorant not to realize that the animal's face as eye-catcher looks this way only by being strangulated? Look at the position of the human hands in the background and you should know what I mean. But I'm shure you realized this before and published the picture intentionally. Sometimes one can observe such behavior when people hitting puberty.

Very cheap, strange and disgusting means to attract attention. The comments of aksman and crusader are self-explaining, as being totally blind to what had been trying to be expressed by some postings.

Most English terms above have entered our language. Words like Games or Magazines COULD be translated alright, but there’s not a soul who doesn’t understand what’s meant by the English originals.

Things get more complicated in the subcategories, though. Especially the software section. Translating that would be harder. How about the subcategories?

К своему удивлению,вижу что страница моего любимого сайта открывается на итальянском языке, что мне очень не нравиться потому что в Италии, котороя когда то (!!!!) родиной "Культуры" в самом высоком смысле слова,появился невоспитанный и неприятный обычай "тыкать" любого человека даже на много старше или совершенно незнакомого, Итальанские вебмастеры видно не знают что перевод английского слова you в разговоре с близкими переводиться как "Ты" а с незнакомыми как вежливый "Вы".
Хочу перейти на страницы Avax на английском языке (или русском). Как это сделать?

А посмотрите что пишут итальянцы на этой странице : без мата и очень вульгарных выражений не могут обойтись. так называемая "тифозная" суб культура.

Слишком быстро обрадовалась. Увы, несмотря на факт что выбрала английский язык в своём профиле, страницы продолжают тупо отркываться на итальянском языке которого я не желаю . я россиянка и хочу видеть сайт на английском или французском, раз нет русского. Помогите восстановить хотя бы английский. Спасибо.

The problem with the translations is that now it seems to be fairly ramdm what language you get on the category names at the top of the screen.
