Well, this year is coming to its end, and we feel that conclusions are necessary.

But, before my colleague Torai will take you into the details of the statistic calculations, I first would like to say a few words:
We live in a quite funny-structured world. Six billion people divided by borders, six billion full of fear of each other. Every day people encounter military conflicts, locally or globally, which probably does not make any sense to neither one of them.

And I have to thank AvaxHome – a getaway island amongst this ocean of insanity which connects users with different cultures across the world, making us a bit more tolerant, transforming our lives on this planet into a much better ones.

Information should be spread and accessed freely if we wish to be called the memorable generation of 21st century.

And once again thank you for believing in the same values is we do. Together we will win!

Nous les frenchies, nous sommes en haut de la liste pour le nombre de visiteurs, 4 millions et demi en 2009, c'est bien un signe des temps.
Cela dépasse largement le simple fait de " télécharger ", un vrai monde est en train de naitre sous nos yeux, nous raconterons à nos enfants, qui ont déjà "l'outil" en main, le monde " d'avant " et celui que nous leur laisserons, dégagé de tout ces marchands du temple, bonimenteurs et politiciens corrompus, tous ces maitres à penser, roitelets sans couronnes...
Bienvenue à 2010, Bienvenue dans un Monde de Partage, des idées, des biens...là ou tout parait plus facile, le mot frontière n'existe pas...
Bienvenue à tous ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore Avax, que la paix et le bonheur ne fassent qu'un ici.

I completely agree with you. I think the possibility of sharing and exchanging material (music, movies, books, etc.) with people who share an interest is a wonderful thing and today, with the help of Internet, it is much easier than 10 years ago.
I follow this site for several years and each time I find more and better things. I thank all who contribute to Avax exists.

Nope. I was called Avaxsphere for a short time after the site was taken down temporarily about 2 years ago. Avaxhome.ru existed since I believe 2004. It experienced a complete overhaul in 2006, and continued until 2008, when it was seized by authorities. Then it was re-opened as avaxsphere, and changed names a few times until getting a Western Samoan domain name and changing back to the original AvaxHome.

Hello everyone. I have a suggestion that might make the user experience less frustrating here. When people make a file available, only allow the use of one category. For example: if you go to music > cajun, most of the listings are not for Cajun or Zydeco music. JJ Cale makes up more than 50%. There are maybe eight Cajun/Zydeco albums listed out of all of the pages. Can this be changed? Thanks.
