Hendrix - Band Of Gypsys [1997 Remaster] (1970)
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + M3U + LOG | ~348 Mb | Full Artwork (600 dpi)

From Wikipedia:

History

After Hendrix disbanded the Jimi Hendrix Experience in mid-1969, he formed Gypsy Sun and Rainbows to fulfill the contract for the Experience to play Woodstock. Bassist Billy Cox (who had played with Hendrix while they were in the army) had been rehearsing and playing with Hendrix since April, but the band was short-lived.

With Cox and his drummer friend Buddy Miles, Hendrix next formed the Band of Gypsys, this time to fulfill his obligation to produce an LP of new material for Ed Chalpin, to be released on the Capitol label. Hendrix, in interviews as early as March 1969, had already mentioned a "jam" album to be titled Band of Gypsys. Hendrix also mentioned in his introduction at Woodstock that "Band of Gypsys" was an alternative name for the group performing there.

Small Faces - Hits, Misses, Trashers & Crashers (2004) - 2 CD set
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + M3U + LOG | 567 Mb | 2 Different CD's | Full Artwork

In early 2000's British retro label Fuel 2000 released 2 Small Faces anthologies covering their years with Immediate Records: Absolutely The Best (2001) and Odds & Mods (2002). Those discs were a collection of singles, selected LP tracks, unused recordings and rarities (mainly alternate mixes and alternate single versions) compiled and remastered with the supervision of Ian McLagan. In 2004 both CD's were repacked in a slipcase titled Hits, Misses, Trashers & Crashers. Each CD has his own original artwork & booklet with track by track anotations. This set coupled with the previous Decca anthology gives to the casual and not obsessive fans a wide and complete overview of one of the best British band ever.

Small Faces - The Decca Anthology [1965-1967] (1996) - 2 CD set

Superb double anthology dedicated to The Small Faces spanning their Decca Years. This set includes all their singles (A's & B's), EP tracks and a couple of rarities: a Steve Marriott solo single from 1963, and a 1967 recording of Jimmy Winston & His Reflections (Winston was their original organ player and released this single after his departure). 36 tracks, the sound quality is great, the packaging is simple but very nice and it's an out-of-print item so don't miss it!

Pink Floyd - London 1966/1967 (2005) - DVD & CD Rip
Video | DVD Decrypter | ISO Image | 1Hr 02Min | 2.6 Gb | Scans
Audio | EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + M3U + LOG | 197 Mb | Scans

January 11th 1967, the original Pink Floyd lineup sat at the Sound Techniques Studios in London and, with Joe Boyd as producer, did their first profesional recording session. Two tracks were filmed: a 17 minutes long Interstellar Overdrive and a jam titled Nick's Boogie, a sort of precursor of pieces like Set The Controls To The Heart Of The Sun and A Saucerful Of Secrets. Later in April 67 underground paper IT (International Times) organised at London's Alexandra Palace a multimedia show called 14 Hours Technocolor Dream that included musical acts (Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, The Move, Arthur Brown & The Crazy World, Pretty Things, Small Faces and Eric Burdon & The New Animals among others), light shows and "living art" performances. The event was filmed by Peter Whitehead and released a year later as Tonite Lets All Make Love In London, a 70 minutes documentary considered as the most relevant document about English Psychedelia and the Swinging London. This DVD contains the two Floyd tracks, collated with images of Whitehead's film and footage filmed at the legendary UFO club. 2005 edition, includes some film extras and a CD with the 2 Pink Floyd tracks. A must for Syd Barrett/early Floyd fans.

The Arrows Featuring Davie Allan - Cycle-Delic Sounds [2005 Remaster] (1968)
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + LOG + M3U | ~143 Mb | Full Artwork

From Allmusic Guide:

Providing the soundtrack to numerous biker and teen exploitation movies in the mid- and late '60s, Davie Allan & the Arrows bridged the surf and psychedelic eras. Their driving, basic instrumentals featured loads and loads of fuzz guitar, as well as generous dollops of tremolo bar waggling and wah-wah. The guitarist and his band first made their mark with the minor hit "Apache '65," a version of the Shadows/Jorgen Ingmann's instrumental classic "Apache." Hooking up with notorious exploitation movie producer Mike Curb, the Arrows provided the soundtracks to numerous B-movies on the Tower and Sidewalk labels; their greatest success, "Blues Theme" (from The Wild Angels starring Peter Fonda), made the Top 40 in 1967. Curb abandoned racy movies for the Osmonds and purged MGM Records of their psychedelic acts, but the Arrows continued to play and record for various labels during the '80s and '90s. A slew of reissues during the new millennium broadened the group's appeal, and they returned in 2003 with Restless in L.A. ~ Richie Unterberger

Fairport Convention - Meet On The Ledge: The Classic Years [1967-1975] (1999) - 2 CD set
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + LOG + M3U | 966 Mb | Full Artwork

Fairport Convention were pioneers of the British Folk Rock movement and one of the greatest entities of the post-war musical scene. Their former members are legends in their own right: Ashley "Tiger" Hutchings, Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol, Dave Swarbrick and the late and forever missed Sandy Denny. Meet On The Ledge is the best Fairport Convention compilation available, spanning all their studio albums between 1968-1975 and including 3 rarities (2 of them previously unreleased). The tracks have been remastered and the booklet is great with song by song anotations and an essay written by Fairport biographier Patrick Humphries.

Elton John - Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy [2005 Deluxe Edition] (1975) - 2 CD set
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 4 | FLAC + CUE | 931 MB | Artwork

I've not heard the Japanese paper sleeve edition yet but this release is fantastic: the original album plus 4 single sides (I love Beatles but the cover of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds included here surpasses the original by a mile, the arrangement is full of magic) and a great performance of the whole album at the Midsummer Music Festival in Wembley Stadium, 1975, with Elton backed by a 10 members macroband. I've not included the mini-replica of the original booklet because it's virtually illegible... if anybody is still interested may drop me a line.

Elton John - Japan Paper Sleeve Collection (2006) - [Part I]
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + M3U | 1.6 GB | Full Artwork

IMHO these are some of the most representative Elton John albums from his classic (and best) years. 2006 Japanese releases in mini replicas of the LP artwork and excellent crystal clear sound. Originally packed in a limited edition box for the local market but individually sold outside Japan.

Duane Eddy - Have 'Twangy' Guitar Will Travel [40th Anniversary Edition] (1958)
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | FLAC + CUE + LOG + M3U | ~160 Mb | Full Artwork

Allmusic:
If Duane Eddy's instrumental hits from the late '50s can sound unduly basic and repetitive (especially when taken all at once), he was vastly influential. Perhaps the most successful instrumental rocker of his time, he may have also been the man most responsible (along with Chuck Berry) for popularizing the electric rock guitar. His distinctively low, twangy riffs could be heard on no less than 15 Top 40 hits between 1958 and 1963. He was also one of the first rock stars to successfully crack the LP market...

Uriah Heep - The Lansdowne Tapes [Expanded Edition] (2002) - 2CD set
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | Vorbis 1.2.0 + Vorbisgain 0.34 | Ogg 458 Kbps (avg) | 529 Mb | Full Artwork

Expanded version of this great collection first released in early 90's as 1 CD. These are the legendary lost Lansdowne Tapes, in honour of the studio where the band recorded their first 3 albums Very 'eavy Very 'umble, Salisbury & Look At Yourself. Includes alternate versions/mixes, unreleased tracks and the unused recordings of The Spice (the first Uriah Heep incarnation), a curious mix of Hard Rock, Jazz & Psychedelia. Carefully remixed and remastered by Robert Corich, this set has a very well anotated booklet and a better tracklisting (the original release was a mixed bag of Spice & Heep tracks with any logical order).

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Live In Japan 1984 (2008) - DVD Rip [Video & Audio]
Video | 4 Media DVD Ripper 5 | Avi | 720x480 | 256 Kbps | 1Hr 45Min | 2.02 Gb | Scans
Audio | DVD Audio Extractor 4.5.4 | FLAC | Avg 553 Kbps | 266 Mb | Scans

This is the only Rainbow video officially released with Joe Lynn Turner. There's a previous release (2004) with different cover. Maybe not the strongest Rainbow lineup but the performance is great with good video & audio quality.

HP Lovecraft - Two Classic Albums Fom HP Lovecraft (2000) - Twoffer
EAC v0.99 Prebeta 5 | Lame 3.98.2 | MP3 320 Kbps | 168 Mb | Full Artwork

One of the best and most underrated bands from the bay area and IMHO one the first prog bands; their original sound full of dark, onirical & menacing images, the role of the keyboards and the two-vocals approach with operatic & gospel influences pre-dated by 2 years bands like Black Sabbath & High Tide and put them in the same league of seminal groups like Vanilla Fudge and King Crimson. This fantastic collection includes their 2 studio albums, HP Lovecraft (1967) and HP Lovecraft II (1968), plus the non LP single Anyway That You Want Me/It's All Over For You. These 21 tracks and the fantastic live album Live May 11, 1968 were their only recorded legacy.

Blues Magoos - Psychedelic Lollipop / Electric Comic Book (1999) - Twoffer
EAC V0.99 Prebeta 5 | Lame 3.98.2 | MP3 320 Kbps | 146 Mb | Full Artwork

Many people still considers The Blues Magoos a singles band, a psych combo for teenagers. Their songs were very catchy and the titles of the albums ("Lollipop" "Comic Book") didn't suggest cosmic trips to the masses of hippies and neo-contraculture boys but they were a brilliant band, raw & energic, more garage than psych itself, and their sound pre-dated punk in many ways. Both albums in this collection are full of great tracks, originals and covers; only for citing 2 obvious examples, Ain't Got Nothin' Yet is an inmortal classic and their rendition of Tobacco Road is awesome with an incisive beat and killer instrumental bridge that showed the great players Blues Magoos were.
