Emu48 and HP48SX for Windows, PocketPC and iPhone
Software application | 93MB | RS

The HP48 is a series of calculators using Reverse Polish notation (RPN) and the RPL programming language, produced by Hewlett-Packard (HP) from 1990 until 2003, and is still considered one of the best calculators ever made. It has achieved almost a cult status around the world. In a surprising move HP released the official ROMs for these calculators which allowed the creation of HP48 emulators that ran exactly the same way as the real thing, and in some cases even better than the original.

Stripped down to just Martha Johnson and Mark Gane, and assorted studio musicians, Martha and the Muffins worked closely with producer Daniel Lanois for the third time. And, once again, it was a very successful combination.

Martha and the Muffins - This is the Ice Age (1981)
DinDisc DID 10 (UK) Virgin VL2228 (Can)
New wave | Flac 230MB | mp3 320kbps 101MB | no cue, no log, no scans

The legendary masterpiece of the 80's New Wave genre is finally out on CD more than 20 years after its original vinyl release.

This record sprang from the ashes of Canada's top New Wave band, best known for the rousing single "Echo Beach". The original band had two Marthas, and one of them (Martha Ladly) had gone solo under the name "Martha". But the remnants of the original band distilled upon the lead singer Martha Johnson and lead song writer and guitarist Mark Gane. And from this turmoil came startling freedom.

Training from lynda.com: Learning JavaScript with Charles G. Hollins

Training from lynda.com: Learning JavaScript with Charles G. Hollins
On 2 CDs | ISBN: 1-930727-30-5 | Duration: 7,5 hours

Learning JavaScript with Charles G. Hollins is a CD-ROM based workshop for HTML developers who wish to move from static to interactive Web development. Although JavaScript is primarily used to execute programming logic within the Web browser, the language has now become the industry standard for client-side programming. Thus, developers can apply their skills to Macromedia Flash, Adobe Acrobat and a variety of applications which support the JavaScript language.
The JavaScript code in this workshop was designed and demonstrated under the Windows operating system. The samples were developed and tested for the Windows versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator 6; most should run within any browser that supports JavaScript. However, some incompatibilities may exist under different operating systems and browsers.
