The internal dissension that was already eating away at Buffalo Springfield's dynamic on their second album came home to roost on their third and final effort, Last Time Around.

Greenslade ‎– Spyglass Guest
Vinyl | LP Cover (1:1) | FLAC | 24bit/96kHz & 16bit/44kHz
Label: Mercury / SRM 1-1015 | US Release: 1974 | Genre: Symphonic-Rock

Unlike many fellow reviewers, I don't think at all that "Spyglass Guest" is a major artistic turndown in Greenslade's career; while not being obviously as brilliant as its two preceding albums, it is full of good musical ideas, and the energy is still there, palpable and shining brightly.

Along time ago, I bought this LP from "The Moody Blues", because it appears the original single "Nights In White Satin".

Joe Satriani ‎– Not Of This Earth (Featuring “Memories”)

I chose the hit "Memories" from this LP, because is where one can find all the versatility and virtuosity of Satriani.

Allan Holdsworth ‎– Velvet Darkness
Vinyl | LP Cover (1:1) | FLAC | 24bit/96kHz & 16bit/44kHz
Label: CTI Records / CTI 6068 | US Release: 1976 | Genre: Jazz-Rock

Despite some obvious sound quality problems, I actually like this recording quite a bit. It sounds not so much like an Allan Holdsworth album, but more like a band brought together to sound like the Mahvishnu Orchestra.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive ‎– Not Fragile (Featuring “You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet”)
Vinyl | LP Cover (1:1) | FLAC | 24bit/96kHz & 16bit/44kHz
Genre: Classic-Rock | Label: Mercury / SRM 1-1004 | Release: 1974

Imagine Black Sabbath without instrumental dynamism and lyrical vision; imagine Led Zeppelin without pyrotechnics: What you're imagining is the Bachman-Turner Overdrive — a lowest-common-denominator rock band that's found immense commercial success in a stylistic limbo between heavy-metal and MOR rock. They rely heavily on the basics to convey their musical message, but unlike 99% of their competition, BTO give the impression that the basics are about all they have to offer.

Graeme Allwright ‎– Chante Ses Plus Grands Succès De 1966 A 1975

If you like Leonard Cohen, Graeme Allwright have to like it. In fact, Graeme Allwright devotes a full LP playing Cohen (personally, I think are great interpretations of Cohen, just listen "L'Etranger".)

Malavoi was a Martinican band consisting of Mano Césaire, Jean-Paul Soïme, Christian de Negri, Denis Dantin, and Marcel Rémion. They formed in 1972, naming themselves after a kind ofsugarcane and a street on Gorée, a Senegalese island.
