It is The Age of Reason. Wednesday. The city is under siege by the Sultan. Attempting to forget their troubles and fears, the populace is packed into a theater, watching a traveling company enact The Adventures of Baron von Munchausen. In the middle of the performance, an elderly man cries out in protest, totters down the aisle and onto the stage, and claims that the play is a travesty; he claims to be the real Baron Munchausen (John Neville), and he's here to stop the players from spreading any more lies. Furthermore, he's the only one who can stop the war with the Sultan—because he's the one who started it. As the baron spins his tale, the lines between tale and truth, play and reality—even life and death—begin to blur, as he travels to the Moon, dances with a goddess, and is swallowed by a sea monster in his quest to save the besieged town. When the dust has finally settled and the Baron has ridden off into the sunset, no one is quite sure what has happened—including the viewing audience.

Death of media magnat Amos Kyne is causing power struggle between his executives. In the meantime New York women become prey of a serial killer. Reporter Edward Mobley is in that circumstances faced with almost impossible missions: to catch the killer, to prevent the media empire from falling into the wrong hands and to save his romantic relationship from break-up.

The hero of this film is Rovert Crain nee Schroeder (Marlon Brando), a German demolition engineer who deserted and escaped to India at the call-up his military unit. Identified by British intelligence, Crain is blackmailed into performing a mission for the Allied cause, although he makes it clear that he cares only for his own life. He must impersonate an SS officer and go aboard a merchant ship bound for Europe from Japan, which contains a valuable shipment of rubber. His job is complicated by the fact that the British want him not to just destroy the vessel but prevent the scuttling of the ship so that its cargo can be captured. The captain of the S.S. Ingo is Rolf Mueller (Yul Brynner), who has his own troubles with the Nazis, and the ship itself is manned by a motley crew of career sailors and political prisoners pressed into duty by a lack of experienced seamen.

Captain Justin Mollenard works for a company that sells armaments to the Far East. After an eventful stay in Shanghai, where he and his cargo are the victim of a malicious attack, he returns to his hometown of Dunkirk. Mollenard receives a frosty welcome from his wife Mathilde, who resents the way in which he has neglected his family for so many years. Mollenard’s only wish is to get back to sea as soon as he can, but a sudden heart-attack leaves him paralysed and entirely in his wife’s power...

Photographer Leo meets the solitary Marie-Lou in the streets of Paris. Full of tears and despair, Marie-Lou is immediately taken in hand by Leo’s friends. Everyone wants to know what happened to her, so she starts to recount her experiences of working as a housemaid for several different people. First, she worked for a lawyer and his snobbish wife who were always at each other’s throats. Their two uncouth children were no better. Unable to stand all this unpleasantness, Marie-Lou left and found a new position with the Delecluse family, a far quieter household.

Bidding fairwell to his comrade Argonauts, Hercules (Steve Reeves) and his new wife Iola along with the young Ulysses head for the hero's home town of Thebes. On the way however they learn that the city is under threat of war. King Oedipus gave up his throne to his two sons, agreeing that they would alternate each year, but Eteocles has refused to ceed the throne and Polinices is prepared to make war to win it back with a vicious band of mercanaries. Hercules, not wanting to see his home city torn by conflict, offers to mediate between the pair and heads up to Thebes to talk with Eteocles. The latter sees sense, knowing that he could not defend the city against such a force, agrees to surrender and sends Hercules back with a peace treaty. On the way however Hercules drinks from a forbidden stream and loses his memory - along with Ulysses he is taken by soliders to the palace of Queen Omphale, who plans to keep the hero as a lover. Meanwhile, both brothers think that they have been betrayed and battle lines are drawn...

Three young war veterans get involved in a murder on the black market in Hanover and fled to the countryside. Only in the village of Mayor Luke they find refuge. Luke takes care of the young men and offers them the opportunity to prove themselves useful by letting them build the much needed bridge for the village.

The early 1900s, New York. Famed architect Stanford White (Ray Milland) becomes infatuated with chorus girl Evelyn Nesbit (Joan Collins). They launch into a mad affair despite their disparity in ages and the fact that he loves his wife Elizabeth (Frances Fuller). Evelyn's mother (Glenda Farrell) is powerless to stop the romance, and White eventually comes to his senses and packs Evelyn off to a girls' school, all expenses paid. But deranged young millionaire Harry K. Thaw (Farley Granger) stalks Evelyn, proclaiming his love and pushing himself into her affairs, as much to spite White as for Evelyn's own sake. Evelyn finally agrees to marry Thaw, but his insane jealousy grows as he tortures her with questions and accusations. Deciding that his pride can no longer take the insult, Thaw impulsively shoots White to death at the rooftop theatre of the Madison Square Garden. Thus begins the biggest scandal of the new century.

The story is about a young man (played by Abdel Halim Hafez) who falls in love with the beautiful (played by Iman) but problems arise when he takes the blame for an accident he did not commit.
The film features some of his most romantic love songs.

A German writer gets curious about the violent and sado-masochistic ongoings in his neighbour's apartments and drills holes in the walls to gain more insight. He becomes consumed by his curiosity for their seemingly more interesting lives, simultaneously neglecting his relationship with his British girlfriend.

Movie about the life of North Sea fishermen centers around a young boy who tries to prove to his father that he can be just as good a man as was the son lost at sea. The son eventually proves his worth to his father only to have his worst fears realized when his terminally ill girlfriend succumbs to leukaemia, but this tragedy forces him finally into manhood.

Caravaggio shows amazing skill as a painter at an early age but dreams of one day becoming a Knight Hospitaller in Malta. He seeks fame and fortune in Rome as a painter, eventually meeting Cardinal Del Monte who helps establish him as the most famous and controversial painter in Rome. Caravaggio draws the ire of Rome’s elite, which is not helped by his hot temper. Trouble surrounds Caravaggio as he defies the church leaders with his paintings and clashes with pimps, ruffians, and Spaniards on the streets.

Based on a story by Leo Tolstoy called "The Forged Coupon," L'Argent begins as a group of affluent schoolboys, frustrated by their parents' refusal to give them money, use a counterfeit note at a photography shop. After the boys have left, the shop's owners realize that the note is false, and to cover their losses they pass it along to a manual laborer, Yvon (Christian Patey), as change. The boy who works as an assistant at the shop (Vincent Risterucci) learns a lesson in dishonesty from his employers and decides to pull some scams of his own. Meanwhile, Yvon's life becomes an uninterrupted series of disasters. He loses his job, and, desperate for money to support his wife and child, he commits a crime and is imprisoned. While he is in prison things go from bad to worse, and Yvon snaps, leading to a uniquely harrowing crime spree.
