Editor's comment:
This publication is intended to provide guidance to HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) and What-If review teams associated with the petroleum, petrochemical and chemical industries. It describes the nature, responsibilities, methods and documentation required in the performance of such reviews. This ensures the reviews are conducted in a timely, effective and professional manner as may be prescribed by a company's Process Safety Management (PSM) Policy. This book can be used as a practical reference to prepare the safety review requirements for these industries and their process safety management systems.

Guidelines for process safety documentation

This is a book about documenting and proceduring safety in the process industries, mainly chemical industries tough. It contains some "ready-to-use" sample protocols" and so on. If you, like me, are often engaged in tough discussions with your internal Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) guys in the plant, this might help you to understand their concern and eventually guide you to generating documentation that can be useful for them as well as for production and engineering. The book dates back to 1995 but much of the material presented is, I would say, timeless.

This is a very good book for native German speakers (or assimilated) who want to improve their oral communication and argumentation strength. You will find 2 files in the rar archive (no password needed): one is a PDF, the other a PostScript file (use Ghostview to read it). The reason lies in the way I "ripped" the original file (which I bought) from its DRM rights (protection was an EBX handler).

French book on the Hungarian language. Interesting and unconventional approach, unfortunately the quality is not really good (enough for reading it at least). It's a pity some publishers actually "sell" those books with such a quality. I am working on a complete rewrite and remake of this book, so in some weeks, don't be surprised to see a "new" version of it.

"Cet ouvrage présente un millier de termes et d'expressions généralement absents des dictionnaires en dépit de leur fréquence d'emploi. Ce sont des termes tabous, car ils touchent aux représentations du corps et des fonctions vitales. Ce vocabulaire obscène, ordurier et injurieux est pourtant à la base des structures fondamentales de la langue et sa connaissance est indispensable à qui veut approfondir l'expression populaire et explorer un aspect occulté de " l'âme russe "."
