Well, ponder no more. ‘Conquering EQ’ is crammed to the hilt with easy-to-understand, walk through examples utilizing screen shots and example audio with huge amounts of mouthwatering pro tips, exposing the secrets that today's producers use to create their quality mixes.

In many ways Little Buddha is a companion piece to Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor. A beautiful travelogue and history lesson unfolds in the two parts of this film: a historical text of Siddhartha (Keanu Reeves) and the contemporary quest of Lama Norbu (Ying Ruocheng), who believes he has found the reincarnation of his former teacher in a Seattle child.

Richard Gere is the aging romantic in love with the youthful Winona Ryder, except that while Gere is approaching the "autumn" of his life, Ryder's already there, suffering from a terminal disease. The heady situation has its grim moments, but the bittersweet mix of despair and euphoria is what much great art has always wrestled with.

Released in 1992, Waits's soundtrack to Jim Jarmusch's quirky Night on Earth is built around a recurrent theme reminiscent of Rain Dogs and manipulated into moods that reflect the cities in which the movie's various stories are told. Banjo and accordion are used to great effect to evoke the three European cities. Elsewhere, marimba and other percussion that Tom Waits was using on his "official" recordings at the time are well suited to the darkness and humor in Jarmusch's stories.
