The Beatles – Help!
MP3 – 320 kbps – 47,5 mb – covers

In 1965 the Beatles returned to the big screen with Help! This action/adventure spoof begins when Ringo gets the sacrificial ring of a far Eastern cult, known as Kahili, stuck on his finger. While Kahili sets out to get their ring back, Professor Foot and Algernon, a pair of mad scientists, are also in pursuit of the sacred ring. The Beatles are chased throughout the world as both Kahili and the scientists fall over each other trying to get at Ringo and the ring.

Mostly when I’ve an ‘best of’ album, I only recognise a few songs. In this case however, over 70% is well known by me…. So it’s not only Lola, it’s also Sunny afternoon, Watterloo sunset, Mr. Pleasant, Death of a clown, Wonderboy and all those other great songs…. (mp3, 198 kbps, 198 mb, including covers)

Bryan Ferry emerged as if from nowhere in 1972 when he launched Roxy Music on an unsuspecting but highly receptive world. The band was the ideal vehicle for his multifarious talents as composer, singer and visual artist - the wildly innovative music was presented via equally original artwork, costumes and stage shows. Roxy Music crystallised the hippest style of the ‘70’s, sophistication crossed with street-credibility. A series of groundbreaking albums such as For Your Pleasure and Siren and hit singles like Love Is The Drug and Jealous Guy brought the group worldwide success, culminating in the album Avalon in 1981.

I must admit that it’s mostly difficult to tell something about an ‘various artists’ disc. However the central theme says a lot already. Symfo… Symphonic…Just have a look at the artists’ names and the titles. I myself use these cd’s when I’m driving. I use this kind of music to take distance from daily problems…. Great music.
