Spider-Girl #1-8 (of 8) (2011) Complete
CBR/CBZ in 2 RAR's | Release Dates Nov 17 2010 - Jul 6 2011 | 194.48 MB Total

Spider-Girl, written by Paul Tobin with art from Clayton Henry and Matthew Southworth, was originally announced as a new ongoing last July 2010 at Comic-Con International: San Diego, and starred Anya Corazon, the character originally known as Araña. It was released in November 2010 and promoted as a tie-in to the "Big Time" developments in Amazing Spider-Man (as if anyone would fail to notice the title banner on the cover of the first issue) at that time. Previous Spider-Girl series starred May Parker, the teen daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane in the "MC2" alternate timeline; since Anya Corazon has had healthy appearances in both Young Allies and the Nomad feature in Captain America, Marvel might have thought it better to introduce "big time" another character in its already burgeoning roster of teen superheroes, but focusing more on the mundane realities of a teenager's day-to-day existence. The down-to-earth slant drew critical praise and positive notices from women empowerment blogs but sadly the title could not generate enough sales and the solicitation for the eighth issue announced its end. All these aside, this accidental 8-issue limited series is fun, charming and a great heroic read that can be shared with the all ages scene quite nicely. All HQ Minutemen scans.

The Batman Vault: A Museum-in-a-Book With Rare Collectibles From The Batcave (2009)
Greenberger Robert, Matthew Manning | CBR | Running Press | ISBN 0762436638 | Oct 6 2009 | 192 Pages (c2c) | 86.30 MB

The Batman Vault is a combination of history about the Batman's origins and an in-depth exploration of the lives of the Dark Knight himself. By "lives" I refer to the number of resets the Gotham Crusader has had over the years to satisfy and adjust for the new fans, not to mention sorting out the complexities of an ever complex DC Universe's multiple Earths and that in real time, Batman as a comicbook has been going since 1939. In that respect, authors Robert Greenberger and Matthew K. Manning have done a remarkable job in explaining them all and in context so that anyone or even a novice to all the variants should come away with a deeper understanding of what's been going on and no doubt recognize his or her own Batman. The book also includes an assortment of rare collectibles that can only be found in this collection. A must-have for Batman fans of all ages.

Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan Complete
64 CBR's in 6 RAR's | DC | 1997 - 2002 | 613.44 MB Total

Transmetropolitan is a cyberpunk comic book series written by Warren Ellis with art by Darick Robertson and published by DC Comics. The series was originally part of the short-lived DC Comics imprint Helix, but upon the end of the book's first year the series was moved to the Vertigo imprint as Helix was discontinued. Transmetropolitan chronicles the battles of Spider Jerusalem, infamous renegade gonzo journalist of the future, as a homage to gonzo journalism founder Hunter S. Thompson. Spider Jerusalem dedicates himself to fighting the corruption and abuse of power of two successive United States presidents; he and his "filthy assistants" strive to keep their world from turning more dystopian than it already is while dealing with the struggles of fame and power, brought about due to the popularity of Spider via his articles. The monthly series began in 1997 and came to its conclusion in 2002. The series was later reprinted in an array of ten trade paperback volumes, and also featured three "specials" (I Hate It Here, Filth of the City and Edgy Winter) with text pieces written by the Spider Jerusalem character and illustrated by a wide range of comic artists. These were later collected in trade paperbacks. Mature Readers.
