Double Shot Of Soul is the first ever collection dedicated to the R&B and soul output of one of Los Angeles’ best-known indies in the late 1960s, Double Shot. Though the label hit paydirt with the 1966 garage rock hit ‘Psychotic Reaction’ by Count Five, the bulk of their catalogue was in fact soulful in nature.
