Deep Purple - Fireball
Friday Music 180g LP / FRM 2564

Vinyl rip in 32-bit/192kHz (converted to 24/96 & 16/44.1) | FLAC | m3u, cue & Log

Sure, the following year's Machine Head would provide Deep Purple with their commercial peak, but on Fireball, the formidable quintet was already firing on all cylinders.
by Eduardo Rivadavia/AMG

My original pressing wasn't in good condition anymore. This great sounding and perfect manufactured record is a good replacement...

Billy Joel - Glass Houses
Friday Music 180g LP / FRM 36384
Mastered by Kevin Gray @ AcousTech, Camarillo

Vinyl rip in 32-bit/192kHz (converted to 24/96 & 16/44.1) | FLAC | m3u, cue & Log
Artwork | 730/220 mb incl. recovery | Rapidshare & FileFactory | Rock; Pop | 1980

Allmusic.com rating: 4.5 out 5 Stars

The Stranger and 52nd Street were fine albums in their own right, but it's nice to hear Joel scale back his showman tendencies and deliver a solid pop/rock record. It may not be punk -- then again, it may be his concept of punk -- but Glass Houses is the closest Joel ever got to a pure rock album.
- Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Thanks to Kevin Gray. This reissue rocks!!

Allmusic.com rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

If this is not a definitive jazz guitar trio, they have not yet been born, and Green Street stands as one of Grant Green's best recordings of many he produced in the ten prolific years he was with the Blue Note label.
- Michael G. Nastos/AMG

Great sounding record set... Some critics say that this recording sounded never that good!!!

Herbie Hancock - Takin' Off
Cisco Records 180g / Cisco CLP-7050 (BST-84109)
Mastered by Kevin Gray @ AcousTech, Camarillo

Vinyl rip in 32-bit/192kHz (converted to 24/96 & 16/44.1) | FLAC | m3u, cue & Log
Artwork | 875/270 mb incl. rexcovery | Rapidshare & FileFactory | Jazz | 1962

Allmusic.com rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars

MAN, was I surprised! The vinyl was absolutely silent. No surface noise whatsoever. It was like the scuff marks were a figment of my imagination. This is more like it! To these ears, Takin’ Off was never one of Rudy Van Gelder’s better recordings, but Cisco did some real wonders with it on their 180g vinyl pressing. The soundstage is wider than ever before and the dynamics are noticeably improved. All the instruments are clear as a bell.
There was some brief, very minor, static in the right channel at the very end of “Empty Pockets,” but other than that, this was a perfect pressing. Warm, and full of life. Much better than the CD!

Jeff Buckley - The Grace E.P's
Music On Vinyl 5 LP-Set 180g / MOVLP026
Vinyl rip in 32-bit/192kHz (converted to 24/96 & 16/44.1 | FLAC | cue, m3u & Log
Artwork | 3.3 gb/1.02 gb incl. recovery | RS & FF | Rock, Alternative; Folk | 2002

Allmusic.com rating 3.5 out of 3 Stars

This collection of five 1994-1996 EPs, packaged as five separate LPs (each with their own sleeve) in one case, doesn't quite pick up all the stray ends that don't appear on his other full-length releases. But it does contain five EPs that use his Grace album as the nominal touchstone, all of which are now collectable and sought-after as listeners strive for every scrap of Buckley's legacy. Indeed two of these (Peyote Radio Theatre and So Real, aka Live at Nighttown) were promotional-only releases that weren't commercially available. The others were imports: Last Goodbye came out in Japan, Live From the Bataclan in France, and The Grace EP in Australia.

A must have for the fan and a nice addition for all the rest....

His voice is lithe, his fingers insanely nimble and his songwriting chops simply awesome. Really, anyone from the ages of 15 to 65 would find Gift Of Screws exhilarating. Quite simply, a masterpiece.

When you listen to it, try to forget about what these people used to sound like when they played music with departed singers and musicians. In fact, forget about them entirely. This is really an album for the listener.

Great "Music On Vinyl"- release. The sound is way better as on the cd.

Free - Free Live!

Allmusic.com rating 4.5 out of 5 Stars

Although Free made excellent studio records, Free "Live" is perhaps the best way to experience the band in all its glory.... Superbly recorded by Andy Johns, this is one of the greatest live albums of the 1970s.
- Matthew Greenwald/AMG

The sound is great and so is the pressing quality. Highly recommended!

This LP is one of the best blues recordings I’ve heard in a long, long time. A white Boy CAN play the Blues!!!

Germany has his Blues hero! This record, where Henrik plays all instruments by himself, proofs it again. Great vintage sound!!

This is one of those "historic" recordings that becomes an instant classic and is one of the truly great finds in jazz lore. It documents a fine band with its members at the peak of their powers together. This is a must-have.

A truly classic and a great sounding record!.

Rage Against The Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
Music On Vinyl 180g LP / MOVLP062
Vinyl rip in 24-bit/96kHz & 16-bit/44.1kHz | FLAC | m3u, cue & Log
Artwork | 990 /320 mb incl. recovery | RS & FF | Rap Metal; Rock | 1999

Allmusic.com rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Recorded in less than a month, The Battle of Los Angeles is the most focused album of the band's career, exploding from the gate and rarely letting go the whole way through. Like a few other famous revolution-in-the-head bands, Rage Against the Machine has always been blessed by the fact that the band is spewing just as much vitriol as its frontman.

As one of the best albums of 1994, it was best summed up by Mojo as "…a performance of raw vulnerability that served as the perfect epitaph for poor Kurt Cobain".

My favourite version...

Amos Lee - Amos Lee
Classic Records 200g / BN 7243 (Quiex SV_P)
Mastered by Bernie Grundman @ Grundman Mastering

Vinyl rip in 24-bit/96kHz & 16-bit/44.1kHz | FLAC | cue, m3u & Log | Artwork
750/190 mb incl. recovery | RS & FF | Folk, Fusion, Neo-Soul | 2005

Amos Lee is one of those special singer songwriters that comes along very infrequently. On this, his first release he sings songs from the heart that we can all relate to and does so with a voice that we all wish we had. Amos opened for Norah Jones on her 2004 European tour and this record is produce by Norah Jones band member Lee Alexander. Mastered and cut from the original 1/2" analog masters by Bernie Grundman on Classic's "all tube" stereo cutting system and pressed on the 200g Classic Super Vinyl Profile pressings. Amos is definitely in the house and in the room!

A wonderful sounding record!!!
