This self titled CD is the first release by the band ‘The Dolls’. Comprised of Craig Armstrong on Piano, Antye Greie-Fuchs (AGF) providing the vocals and Vladislav Delay adding manipulation and beats.
Armstrong's piano works provides us with a different side to his work. At times his work sounds quite jazzy.

This is great album which deserves people's attention.

In my earlier years I was a huge fan of Motown Music. There weren’t too many that were part of the Motown group that I didn’t like. Marvin Gaye was a part of Motown. He was considered the Prince of Motown and yes I was a fan of his music. Some of his biggest hits includes “You’re a Wonderful One”, “I Heard It Through the Grapevine”, and “What’s Going On?”. Although he was a huge success in his music career Marvin found himself in the drug world and became addicted to cocaine, which caused a lot of problems in his life and career.

Dr. John - Live at Montreux 1995 (2005)
DVD-9 | Runtime: 93 min. | 5,18 Gb | Copy: Untouched
Video: PAL, 720 x 576 (1.333) at 25.000 fps | Audio: English, Dolby Digital 5.1 at 448 Kbps, DTS at 755 Kbps, PCM-2 at 1 536 Kbps
Genre: Rock, Blues | Label: Eagle Rock Entertainment Ltd | Covers: Not included

Dr. John brought a strong band to the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1995. Everyone solos hard and often. He sings at the piano and keeps the house rockin' with his unique delivery. Backup singers shadow much of what he sings and provide plenty of depth. From the piano bench, he tells stories that roll out a distinctive New Orleans flavor. When he stands up to play guitar and sing, his blues band dishes it out with a heavy hand. His guitar solos prove quite expressive, too.
