Using tricks to handle coupled nonlinear dynamical many-body systems, several advancements have already been made in understanding the behavior of markets/economic/social systems and their dynamics. The book intends to provide the reader with updated reviews on such major developments in both econophysics and sociophysics, by leading experts in the respective fields. This is the first book providing a panoramic view of these developments in the last decade.

Also covered in detail are the tools of harmonic analysis used to implement the forms of the large sieve inequality, including the Riemann Hypothesis over finite fields, and Property (T) or Property (tau) for discrete groups.

Traffic grooming is the name given to a family of optical network design problems that has attracted significant attention from both academia and industry in the last decade or so. The huge bandwidth of fiber optical networking is much larger than the typical bandwidth demands experienced by network service providers.
