The document I post today is testimony of a wonderful vocal artist full of life. Some opera arias, some lied, even folk songs. A lovely, but not easy concert. In fact this kind of recitals are the most threatful issue for a singer. There are not chorus, makeup, scenarios, lights, etc. to aid. There is only the music, the vocal technics and the heart.

1950 was a great year for Maria Callas and also for mexican opera house: Bellas Artes. She sang that year Norma, Tosca, Il Trovator and of course the legendary performance of Aida.
