Jon Anderson - "The More You Know" - 1998
MP3 320 Kbps | 104 Mb | APE+CUE| 343 Mb
Genre: Rock | Styles:Art-Rock,Prog-Rock

Change he must, and yet the more things change, the more this album of contemporary pop/worldbeat stays within the unpredictable expectations of a Jon ANDERSON album. I didn’t blink an eye when the sounds of drums n’ bass took their place alongside that familiar voice as if they naturally belonged there. Approaching a Jon ANDERSON album is a dangerous business, so you need to be ready for anything. What I wasn’t ready for were two songs that would get under my skin so quickly: “Heaven’s Love” and “Take, Take, Take". The former reminds me of “Hearts,” the latter could be seen as a cross between “We Have Heaven” and Peter GABRIEL’s “Kiss That Frog". For these two tracks alone, ANDERSON’s fans should considering picking up this disc.

Doors - "The Doors"+"Strange Days" - 1966/1967
MP3 320 Kbps | 101+80 Mb | APE+CUE | 460 Mb
Genre: Rock | Styles: Rock

On their 1967 debut album, the Doors more than fulfilled the promise of their infamously challenging gigs around Los Angeles throughout the previous year. Whether belting out a standard like "Back Door Man" or talk-singing such originals as "The Crystal Ship" and "I Looked at You," leather-clad vocalist Jim Morrison exuded both sensuality and menace. The mixture, on the outsize album finale, "The End," helped rewrite the rules on rock song composition. None of this would have worked, though, were it not for the highly visual instrumental work of keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robbie Krieger, and drummer John Densmore, whose work on tracks such as "Take It As It Comes" and the lengthy hit "Light My Fire" virtually defined the rock-blues-jazz-classical amalgam that was acid-rock.

Electronically Tested is the second album by Mungo Jerry. The UK release was on Dawn Records, and it appeared with slightly different track listings in other countries, as many territories outside the UK had already added the group’s first hit ‘In The Summertime’ to the running order on the eponymous first album.

This is the debut disc from this quartet and the album runs the gamut from ballads to rockers. Tracks like "Love Shuffle", "Shotgun Johnny" and "Hard Like A Rock" showcase the heavier side, while tunes such as "Been Your Fool" and the excellent ballad "Let Me Be The One" display the softer side.

Mungo Jerry «Mungo Jerry» (1970)
MP3 320 Kbps | 101 Mb | Genre: Rock | Styles: Skiffle-rock

Mungo Jerry was formed in 1970 by singer/guitarist Ray Dorset (born March 21, 1946), who had a fascination with early rock & roll sounds, as well as skiffle and blues. The other original members were Mike Cole on upright bass; Paul King on guitar, kazoo, and jug; Joe Rush playing washboard; and Colin Earl at the keyboards. Dorset and Earl had first hooked up in the Good Earth, a group with a mixed rock & roll and blues sound, which cut some tracks for the mid-priced label Saga, none of which sold. Cole, King, and Rush came aboard and the lineup was complete. The name Mungo Jerry – from a T.S. Eliot poem – came next, with a contract from Pye Records.
