Zero Hour introduces nine subfactions, units under one of the three powers, including the US air force and the Chinese infantry. Each has its own unique leader and its own playing style. Each faction has three new units available, plus a new building, new upgrades, and new general powers. These new units include the US microwave tank, the Chinese Helix helicopter, and the GLA combat cycle, while new buildings include the US firebase, the Chinese internet center, and the GLA can now construct fake installations to confuse its enemies. This expansion pack for COMMAND & CONQUER GENERALS includes everything a good expansion pack should have. Terrorist Takedown: Payback | 218MB

Terrorist Takedown: Payback is the sequel to Terrorist Takedown, and it is often labeled as a standalone expansion pack. It features 10 missions with the same gameplay of its predecessor: a first person rail shooter with some third person helicopter levels. In the first person levels the player has to take down enemies with machine guns and cannons mounted on helicopters or HMMVVs. Sometimes the player controls a stationary gun. When controlling a machine gun, a "heat" meter is shown and if the gun overheats, the player has to wait for it to cool down until it can shoot again. The vehicles the player is in have a damage meter at the screen's bottom left. In some other levels, the player controls a helicopter from a third person perspective with unlimited ammo. The helicopter is controlled with both the mouse (for direction) and the keyboard (for height). The game features some improvements over its predecessor, like a high score system and different difficulty levels.

The Temple of Elemental Evil: A Classic Greyhawk Adventure | 1.24GB

Temple of Elemental Evil is a turned Role-Playing Game based on the AD&D Greyhawk campaign setting, using the 3.5 version D&D rules. The game plot revolves the (suspected) rise of evil, originating from the Temple of Elemental Evil. In this game, players start with 5 (five) generated (or pre-generated) party members in the start of the adventure (a maximum of 8, the later 3 comprising of NPCs - Non Player Characters). Unlike most AD&D games, the maximum level cap for characters in this game is the 10th level. The party itself has an alignment (in addition to individual character alignments) which greatly affects the plot and choices the party makes throughout the game. Character alignments and the party alignment are now closely related. For example, a Lawful Good or Chaotic Evil character may not be selected within a True Neutral party alignment. Additionally, Paladins do not want to be in the same group with anyone evil. Thus, depending on the party alignment (nine default alignments to choose from), players may either take the course of being the good heroes ridding evil from the land or be the evil raiders butchering anything that moves, all of which (may it be good, bad or neutral), may effect the party reputation. The game interface in divided into 2 major area's: The overland map, where players can travel to specific locations in the land, and the default adventure interface where dialogs and combat occur.

Painkiller: Battle Out of Hell | 1.25GB

Battle out of Hell, which requires the base game, takes place directly after the events of Painkiller. Daniel Garner has just defeated Lucifer and finds out that Alastor has taken over the armies of hell. For replay value, there are different goals while playing: finishing the level, meeting different challenges (kill a certain number of enemies, use only one weapon) and specific goals such as collecting all secret items or smashing every object. Meeting these challenges gives you black tarot cards with special abilities. Each level also has a batch of new enemies. Two new weapons with dual firing modes have been added: the Boltgun/Heater and the SMG/Flamethrower. Additionally, the graphics engine has been updated for the expansion as well as the base game. The awkward netcode from the original game, which has been rewritten for the Painkiller: Hell Wars Xbox version, has been implemented in this expansion pack. Two new multiplayer modes have been added as well: Capture the flag and Last man standing.

Shadowgrounds | 832MB

Shadowgrounds is arcade style top-down shoot 'em up for modern generation. The plot, which involves distant space colony invaded by shadow-loving monsters, develops throughout the game. There are several different weapons to choose from and each can be upgraded as player sees it fit. Some weapons have more upgrades than others. Explosive barrels and other objects can be used to increase the body-count. And yes, there are big bosses to shoot out as well. It's not all mindless carnage though, as the real-time lighting has been integrated into the gameplay itself. Most monsters don't like light and rather stay in the shadows, making your portable light important part of the gameplay. Monsters also get blinded for a short time if you point the light straight at their eyes. Together with more or less destructible settings, Shadowgrounds offers one of the most interactive environments in top-down arcade shooters.

SiN Episodes: Emergence | 2.48GB

Emergence is the first episode of the new SiN series. You play as Colonel John R. Blade, founder and top operative of HardCORPS, a private security firm operating in the city of Freeport sometime in the near future. Aided by rookie partner Jessica Cannon and technical wiz JC, you seek to shut down the operations of SinTEK and its founder Elexis Sinclaire, and prove that they are knowingly contributing to the outbreaks of mutant activity occurring in various districts of Freeport. Gameplay is FPS-style, with a few non-standard elements, such as a couple of brief sequences where the player is riding in a car. All plot is conveyed in-game via NPCs and radio messages, rather than by cutscenes. Weapon variety for the player is limited to a pistol, shotgun, and assault rifle, each with a secondary fire mode, and incendiary grenades. Each weapon can also be aimed, which gives the player better accuracy at the expense of movement speed.

Soldiers Heroes of World War II | 1.51GB

Fight as British, Americans, Russians or Germans through more than 30 challenging missions across Europe in this tactical 3D isometric Real Time Strategy game. Although it might sound like a typical World War II RTS, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II has some features that makes it unique. The most distinct feature is Direct Control that allows you to precisely command your units and vehicles (such as a tank or a jeep), with the arrow keys to move and mouse to aim with. This gives the the feel of an old time arcade action game. Note that this is not like other action- strategy games (i.e. Battlezone) that changes the perspective to an first person view, but keeps the isometric view throughout the game. Other features that sets it apart from the RTS norm is the advanced physics engine that allows everything to be destroyed and a hit system where for example tanks take more damage from the rear than from the front (no energy bars like in other RTS games). This gives the game additional depth to the tactical mechanics of the game. Things like these in combination with the openness of each map makes sure that there is always several ways to complete each mission. The game also features an inventory system similar to RPGs, with a drag and drop interface. This allows you to pick up equipment from fallen enemy soldiers.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance | 1.36GB

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is a 3rd person action-adventure game, combining concepts seen in both Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver 2. The story unfolds through chapters, focusing alternately on Kain and Raziel as they pursue their separate, though intertwined quests. Control of each character alternates between levels, however both are controlled from a behind-the-shoulder perspective. While both heroes are different, they are similar in movement, ability to attack, defend, jump and access special abilities. Kain and Raziel no longer pick up weapons, instead both using a form of the Soul Reaver weapon (Kain uses the physical sword form, Raziel uses an energy blade). Each Soul Reaver can now be "charged" to unleash a special ability, determined by the current alignment of Soul Reaver at the time. Both Kain and Raziel lose energy at a constant rate and must feed to replenish life energy (Kain feeds on the blood of living creatures, Raziel feeds on the souls of living and non-living creatures). And both Kain and Raziel feature telekinetic abilities to manipulate objects at a distance.
