I also have this in vinyl with 6 tracks less and name - Ray Charles Blues, but the CD sounds better.

"Hermeto Pascoal, the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist whose contribution to jazz is beyond measure ever since the short-lived Quarteto Novo and his collaboration with Miles Davis on Live Evil, surrounds himself with a stellar line-up on this long awaited reissue. With an impressive ensemble including Weather Report's Chester Thompson and Alphonso Johnson, and with long-time friends Airto Moreira and Flora Purim as producers, Hermeto opts for a collective approach."

Triumvirat is one of the most talented progressive rock groups ever. Led by 'maestro' keyboard genius Jürgen Fritz, Triumvirat stunned even the most casual rock fan with its virtuoso performances featuring the legendary vocal work by both Barry Palmer and Helmut Köllen, and technically superior drumming by Hans Bathelt and Curt Cress.

Ten Years After, with dynamic front man Alvin Lee, was born of the second British Blues invasion and from 1966 to 1975 they rocked their way into musical history. From the Midlands of England to a residency at London's famed Marquee Club to the Fillmore West in San Francisco, Ten Years After's ride to fame was built on some of the finest and most innovative blues/jazz/rock music being offered.

Pat Metheny - New Chautauqua
MP3 LAME 3.81 128 Kbps - 44Khz
I was hearing Daybreak and decided that even in 128Kbps (not my rip) it's a very good example of Pat Metheny's music so I'm posting it here. For those of you with sensible ears I only can say: SORRY...

"A brilliant guitarist whose name is barely known outside of certain guitar circles, Roy Buchanan's career was marked by frustration, disappointment, and ultimately, tragedy. But lack of commercial success and fame aside, Buchanan's legacy is a handful of enduring solo albums, accolades from some of rock's greatest players, and a contribution to rock music's vocabulary of his original techniques such as the volume swell and pinch harmonics. More here." - Hall of Legends - Fender Players Club.
