Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke - Half of Free. Probably one of the greatest, and most underrated, blues bands of the early '70s. Rodgers voice is one of the most recognizable voices in all rock.

Mick Ralphs - On a good day, close to Kossoff in talent. There are many live Mott the Hoople recordings to back that up. A great song writer. Can't Get enough and Movin' On were Mott the Hoople songs that Ian Hunter just didn't have the vocal range for.

Boz Burrell - King Crimson. Important prog rock band. Talented bass player. Probably the least known of the four.

Between the great song writing, great guitar playing, and Rodgers phenominal voice, they became a staple of AOR stations across the country. This album was their shot across the bow. Probably their best.

This is an exceptional album from Eloy, dating from 1976, when they started producing great symphonic progressive rock.

Two of the songs on this album are stand-out classics: The Sun-Song and The Dance in Doubt and Fear.

Although a concept album based on the story of earlier release Power and the Passion, this is very much a turning point in the sound of the band, with a much more focussed rhythm section allowing the melodic leads to soar.

This has become one of my favorite albums- it's an electronic remix of Russian folk music, sung by old Russian men and women.

In some ways it's a bit like Deep Forest, though to my mind much more interesting. Despite the electronic part of the music the album does a great job of creating the feel of a Russian village.

It's beautiful and makes me feel happy when I listen to it. I recommend it very highly.

This Ivan Kupala album is wonderful.

I was first introduced to the group with their equally excellent album - Kostroma- and I was hungry for more. I searched them out and found -Radio Nagra-, and I am so glad I did!

This music is somehow primal, spiritual, and basic to life, while also being intricately complex and meaningful on so many levels. It strikes a beautiful chord in me when I listen, and I can't recommend them enough!

If you are passionate about good music from all over the world, real, true, heartfelt music, then you will love -Radio Nagra- !

Even if you don't agree with Neil Young's politics, you can't help but be daunted by the intersection of his genius and ire on his second album in less than seven months. It is the very rare artist who is able to channel indignation and moral disgust in such a coherent and forceful way – without sacrificing any of the vivid imagery, passion, or the high level of musicality that we have come to expect from him over the past four decades. But that's not what elevates this album: it's his pure, naked, visceral reaction to the Bush administration's foreign policy, building on a canon of outrage that he began with 1970's “Ohio”, penned in the wake of the Kent State student deaths. On Living with War, he demands much more from his audience, and himself. This is nothing less than a call for fearless action in extraordinarily fearful times. – Jaan Uhelszki
