MPEG-1 Video | Music Video | 3:52 | 1538kpbs | 352X240 | MPEG-1 Audio layer 2 224kpbs | 42.6MB | RS.com
Genre: Hard Rock Glam Metal

Dokken is an American metal band which was formed in 1976. The group became one of the classic metal bands from their era, accumulating numerous charting singles and selling over 10 million albums. While the band became associated with bands like Ratt, Judas Priest, Quiet Riot, Warlock, and Def Leppard, their style of traditional metal characterized by extravagant use of lead guitars and soaring melodic vocals backed by a heavy thumping bass still sets them apart from similar acts to this day. Although their image was somewhat "glam," their music was traditionally heavy with technical expertise, and the band relied much less on a "glam" image than later glam metal bands such as Poison and Cinderella, focusing more on the musical aspect.

"Take on Me" was the first song Morten Harket heard Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy play. At that time the song was called "Lesson One." After multiple re-recordings and two failed releases, "Take on Me" became a hit on both sides of the Atlantic in 1985. The first release of the song in 1984 was not a major success, but after a few songs were remixed by producer Alan Tarney a year later, it sold 1.5 million copies worldwide in one week.

The Beatles Live at the BBC

The Beatles Live at the BBC
MP3 Files | 320kpbs | 149MB + 156MB | 2cds | Length: 133:37
Released: 30 November 1994 | Recorded 22 January 1963–26 May 1965 | Label: Apple | Producer: George Martin | RS.com
Genre: Rock

Live at the BBC was released by The Beatles in November 1994; it includes tracks from the multitude of recordings they made for radio shows at the BBC during 1963–1965. Many of these recordings had been heard most recently on the BBC Radio 1 documentary series The Beeb's Lost Beatles Tapes (1988). The BBC scrapped most of its archive tapes of The Beatles performing; the majority of this album is based on a bootleg by the Great Dane organization, most noticeable in the drops in quality during "Keep Your Hands off My Baby" and "That's All Right (Mama)", which sound unusually tinny and distant.
