"Nirvana Cafe" is Karunesh’s second release for the Real Music label. Between the worlds of awake and sleep are welcoming inns and cafes where travelers can rest and acclimatize. At such places, wayfarers often connect with a wise one or simply bask in the music of the spheres before continuing on their way. Virtuoso instrumentalist Karunesh serves exquisite fare at "Nirvana Cafe", melodic rhythms artfully and at times spiritedly blended with an array of flutes, strings, piano, keyboards and percussion. On guitar, guest artist Govi conjures the language of desire, mystery and joy.. ~ realmusic.com

Michael Stearns - Baraka: Music From The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1992)
Genre: World | Ethnic Fusion | Ape -> 205 Mb | MP3 @ 320 Kbps -> 114 Mb | Incl. Covers
The word Baraka means "blessing" in several languages; watching this film, the viewer is blessed with a dazzling barrage of images that transcend language. Filmed in 24 countries and set to an ever - changing global soundtrack, the movie draws some surprising connections between various peoples and the spaces they inhabit, whether that space is a lonely mountaintop or a crowded cigarette factory. Some of these attempts at connection are more successful than others: for instance, an early sequence segues between the daily devotions of Tibetan monks, Orthodox Jews, and whirling dervishes, finding more similarity among these rituals than one might expect.. ~ Larisa Moore

Sarah Brightman - Live from Las Vegas: The Harem World Tour (2004)
Genre: (Neo) Classical | Ape -> 435 Mb | MP3 @ 320 Kbps -> 150 Mb | Incl. Covers
Highly stylized and theatrical show such as Sarah Brightman's Harem World Tour: Live From Las Vegas, the music and visuals go hand-in-hand and this edited CD version of the program lacks the impact felt by the enthusiastic live audience. With applause heard within instrumental passages, including the elongated opening, it leaves a listener puzzled as to what is happening.. ~ Aaron Latham

Al Gromer Khan is a prolific ambient sound designer who has released about one and a quarter CDs per year since 1990. Some of them are among the best electro-tribal discs of all time. While Konya does not reach quite that level, it is still very good. Khan mixes his virtuoso sitar with electronic atmospheres and large doses of positive energy to create a new meditative classical style. This is Khan's "paisley music" - it is a creation rather than a definition. His style is unique and smooth.. ~ Jim Brenholts

Klaus Schulze - Kontinuum (2007)
Genre: New Age | Electronic | Ape -> 407 Mb | MP3 @ 320 Kbps -> 185 Mb | Incl. Covers
The meaning of this word can be maybe understood as infinity, endlessness, unlimited space: or, simply the continuation of something. The new music, created by Klaus, seems to overtake as boundlessness infinity of his talent, as the continuation of Schulze's classic tradition, shown in such masterpieces as Mirage and Picture Music (Totem) of the "Golden Era". Three titles are bound together perfectly organic, nearly in Largo tempo, also sensual, hypnotic, passionate, taking you really into trance, slowly, as well as the genius of Schulze can provide it. Another masterpiece.. ~ Julia Blanche

"Voices" is a deep and engaging album from an e-music legend, Vangelis. This CD predates his regular use of symphony orchestras to augment his synths. His synths are, however, very symphonic. He creates broad atmospheres and dramatic soundscapes with synth hooks, chant vocals, and samples. Vangelis also adds some experimental textures and smooth melodies to cap his soundscapes. This is an exciting CD. Vangelis is in a league with few peers. In terms of stature and emotional response, this disc will appeal to fans of Enya and Yanni.. ~ Jim Brenholts

Rondo Veneziano - The Very Best
Genre: Classical | Instrumental | Ape -> 405 Mb | MP3 @ 320 -> 164 Mb | Incl. Covers
In 1980, Gian Piero Reverberi selected talented young musicians graduating from different Italian Conservatories to form a new musical group to be named Rondo Veneziano, little knowing that what they were creating would make his compositions famous all over the world.
The group Rondo Veneziano was at first a chamber orchestra like the well known groups of I MUSICI and SOLISTI VENETI. Afterwards the originally all-female act was elaborated to improve the orchestral performance by adding two rhythmical elements - electric bass and drums - that though being modern instruments, are used mainly to enhance some passages, respecting the traditional musical forms typical of the 18th century. ~ last.fm
