Natalia Noemi Keery-Fisher (born August 15, 1986), better known by her stage name Natalia Kills, is a British recording artist, songwriter, actress, and short-film director based in London and Los Angeles. Signed with Interscope Records, Kills is scheduled to release her debut studio album Perfectionist in April 2011. The first single taken from the album, Mirrors, was released digitally on 6 March 2011 in the UK although the single being released nearly a year ago in the rest of Europe and Canada. Kills has previously gone under the aliases Natalia Cappuccini, Verbalicious and verbz.In January 2008 Kills was discovered by will.i.am and went on to sign to Interscope/Cherrytree Records via his imprint in late 2008. She was noticed for her self-produced and written demo EP Wommanequin which features the song “Real Woman”, a song about her challenge of society’s view of the perfect female form.

Carmen Mercedes McRae (April 8, 1920 - November 10, 1994) was an American jazz singer, considered one of the most important of the 20th century.Carmen McRae was born in Harlem in 1920, and studied piano as a child. As a teenager she came to the attention of Teddy Wilson and his wife, the composer Irene Kitchings Wilson. Through their influence, one of McRae’s early songs, “Dream of Life”, was recorded by Wilson’s longtime collaborator Billie Holiday.By the late 1940s she was well known among the modern jazz musicians who gathered at Minton’s Playhouse, Harlem’s most famous jazz club, where she was the intermission pianist. But it was while working in Brooklyn that she came to the attention of Decca’s Milt Gabler. Her five year association with Decca yielded 12 LPs, many considered jazz vocal classics.

Stan Getz (Stanley Gayetzky, February 2, 1927 Philadelphia – June 6, 1991 Malibu, California) was an American jazz tenor saxophone player. Known as “The Sound” because of his warm, lyrical tone, Getz’s prime influence was the wispy, mellow tone of his idol, Lester Young.His parents were Ukrainian Jews who immigrated from Kiev city, Ukraine in 1903. The family later moved to New York City for better jobs. Stan worked hard in school receiving straight “A’s” on average and finished 6th grade close to the top of his class. Stan’s major interest was in musical instruments, and he felt a need to play every instrument in his sight. He played a number of instruments before his father bought him his first saxophone at the age of 13.
