Julián Carrillo Trujillo (January 28, 1875–September 9, 1965) was a Mexican composer and musical scientist, who discovered the Thirteenth Sound. Carrillo was admitted to the Leipzig Royal Conservatory, where he studied with Hans Becker (violin), Johann Merkel (piano), and Salomon Jadassohn (composition, harmony and counterpoint). He became first violin in two orchestras: the Conservatory's Orchestra, conducted by Hans Sitt; and the Gewandhaus Orchestra, conducted by Artur Nikisch. >>>

The Wolfgang Press was an English band active in the the 1980s and 1990s. While many people were involved in most of their recordings (especially in later years), the core band consisted of Michael Allen (vocals, bass), Mark Cox (keyboards), and Andrew Gray (guitar). The band recorded for the 4AD label. Michael Allen is now with the band Geniuser, who released an album Mud Black on the Danish Phisteria label in 2005, Andrew Gray records under the name Limehouse Outlaw and released an album Homegrown on his own label in 2003, and Mark Cox is currently working on music, but as yet, has no name for it.

De Temporum Fine Comoedia, literally A Play of the End of Time, is an opera or musical play by 20th Century German composer Carl Orff. It was his last work and took ten years to compose (1962 to 1972). Its premiere was at the Salzburg Music Festival on August 20, 1973, by Herbert von Karajan and the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. In this highly personal work Orff presented a mystery play in which he summarized his view of the end of time, sung in Greek, German and Latin.

“Einstürzende Neubauten is an ever-changing experimental music band, originally from West Berlin, formed in 1980. The band is often classified as industrial or electronica, though neither really applies well in describing what it is that Einstürzende Neubauten does or sounds like. The band is best described as creating experimental music with their own personal stylistic sensibilities. One of the band's "trademarks" is the use of self-made instruments (usually, but not always, made out of scrap metal and building tools) and noises, in addition to standard musical instruments. Neubauten has always experimented with sounds, originally in noise music and recently in silence (such as with the Silence Is Sexy album)”.
