Andreas Eschbach - Ausgebrannt (2007)

Celtic / New Age | MP3@192kbps | 70 MB | Artwork incl.

Signature looks back over a life less ordinary and portrays Moya's experiences through a collection of twelve superb tracks. Musically sharp and finely tuned, the album cleverly treads a fine line between the contemporary and the traditional while Moya emerges as a skilled songwriter with a global ear. In true Irish tradition, many of the songs have that bittersweet flavour - so this is no rose-tinted retrospective. Rather, Signature is a series of snapshots of Moya’s life – each chosen moment launches a lyrical reflection - which, when all woven together, produce a tapestry of contrasting colours and emotions.

Moya (Máire) Brennan - Whisper to the Wild Water (1999)
Celtic / New Age | MP3@192kbps | Artwork and Lyrics incl.

“After Perfect Time [the preceding album] I talked to so many people about the uncanny spiritual quality that Irish music has and how it touches the soul in a way that no other music can quite do. Sometimes mournful yet full of hope, it captures sadness at a point where the only place to go is upwards. The spirit of days gone by which took the Irish abroad, to carry hope in the world, lives on.”

Eric Tingstad & Nancy Rumbel - Paradise (2000)
American Acoustic | Narada Productions | Artwork incl.
Lossless APE+CUE | MP3 320 kbps | MP3 192 kbps

"Like the two albums (American Acoustic and Pastorale) that preceded it, Paradise by Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel offers listeners the audio equivalent of a comfortable sweater and a favorite pair of jeans. The two veteran musicians continue to blend folk's expressive spirit with the meticulous nature of chamber music in ways that yield serene, instantly appealing backdrops for reading, watching the sun rise, or warming a gathering of friends in front of a fireplace. Gone is the duo's midcareer experimentation with energized, ensemble-based settings; what remains is the pair's core sound -- Tingstad's sonorous acoustic guitars gracefully intertwined with Rumbel's lyrical passages for oboe, English horn, and ocarinas, embellished here with light percussion. Gentle almost to a fault at times, Paradise is nevertheless amply supplied with pleasant melodies: the sweet breezes flowing through Sailing the Spanish-tinged romance of As You Wish, and pair of engaging pop-classical hybrids, The Lowcountry and Rokeby. Highlights: the inviting Middle Eastern flair that adorns a tribute to Ofra Haza (Ofra) and Tingstad's animated The Lawnmower Song."

Tangerine Dream - Summer In Nagasaki (2007)

Tangerine Dream - Summer in Nagasaki (2007)
Genre: Electronica | MP3 320 Kbps | 129 MB | June 2007
Publisher: Eastgate Studios | Composer: Edgar Froese

"Summer In Nagasaki is the second part of the so-called 'Five Atomic Seasons'. The compositions reflect the experiences of Mr. H. T. - an 82 year old Japanese business man - made during the time of the atomic bomb dropping in summer 1945 in Japan. This dramatic incident coincided with the relationship to his early love - his student fellow named Ayumi - who had no chance to survive that horrible attack. H. T. was so heavily shocked that he decided to abandon the world by going into a monastery. The music - written as one long track of 54 minutes - dramatically describes a part of his life and destiny."
