in 1700 /1900 is was very popular in Spain - Italy - Tunesia - Brazil and Mexico.
But do the fact that this instrument is very hard to play mostly people backoff.

Joël Francisco Peri was born in 1945 in Floing France.
He comes from a family of musicians
Joël started to play drums at age of 10
And when he was 16 he played Gipsy-Jazz on his swinging guitar.
In 1971 he went to Paris and got involved with the South American music scene.
