Intuitive Healing
Hay House | ISBN: 1401900291 | 2002-04-01 | MP3 | 284 Mb

"We are the keepers of an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can tell us how to heal," says psychiatrist and practicing intuitive Judith Orloff, M.D. "We all possess within us an intuitive healing code that contains the blueprints for our health and happiness, and for the survival of everything that is good here on earth." Dr. Orloff’s aim is to teach you how to tap into and train your own intuitive powers and use them for your well-being. She divides this audio into three parts: "The Body," "Emotions and Relationships," and "Sexual Wellness." She teaches five steps to intuitive healing, which she defines as "listening to your body's signals--your inner voice and heart, your spiritual connection--to find out how to become more physically, emotionally, and sexually whole." According to Orloff, these steps apply to every health challenge, as well as every emotional and sexual issue:
-Notice your beliefs.
-Be in your body.
-Sense your body's subtle energy.
-Ask for inner guidance.
-Listen to your dreams.

The New War On Terrorism: Fact And Fiction
AK Press | ASIN: B000QZR23C | 2005-05-04 | MP3 | 79 Mb

I would strongly recommend getting all of Chomsky's lectures on CD from AK press. I'll be the first to admit that there's a lot of simplistic rhetoric and general idiocy on the American Left (such as it is) but Chomsky is the antidode for that. You cannot seriously discuss American history, politics, or foreign affairs without coming to terms with Chomsky. The man is the modern Socrates; the soft-spoken gadfly that the State has tried to silence.

This is a remarkable story of courage. Ayaan Hirsi Ali is certainly one of this century's heroines. I recommend the recorded version. (I had read the book earlier.) Ms. Hirsi Ali's reading increases the listeners understanding more than I would have expected.

The Last Post: The Final Word from Our First World War Soldiers By Max Arthur
Orion | ISBN: 0752888722 | 2007-04-05 | MP3 | 65 Mb

FORGOTTEN VOICES OF THE GREAT WAR was the surprise best-seller at Christmas 2002, selling over 60,000 copies in hardback alone. LAST POST is very consciously the last word from the handful of survivors left alive in 2004. When they die, our final human connection with the First World War will be broken: after this book, we will have only recordings or diaries. We will never be able to ask a question of someone who was there.

The People and the Ballot: A History of American Party Politics
Joshua Kaplan | ISBN: N/a | 2008 | MP3 | 814 Mb

The study of political parties gets straight to the heart of American politics. The story of political parties is about how we get along with one another. Political parties grew outside the Constitution and the more formal framework of government. No one planned or even wanted them. Parties developed as a response to the dream of a unified government. While parties have taken the country to the brink of violence, and beyond, they have also been vehicles for avoiding violent conflict, and for channeling disagreements.
