"Child In Time" is an album by British progressive rock band Ian Gillan Band, released in 1976. The album took its title from the Deep Purple song "Child in Time", a version of which appears on side two of the LP. This was Ian Gillan's first release after leaving Deep Purple, and also features his former "Deep Purple" colleague Roger Glover. It's more Pink Floyd mellow-bluesy sounded then "Deep Purple" albums.

Snowboy (aka Mark Cotgrove) is a UK-based Afro Cuban percussionist, bandleader, DJ, music critic, journalist and music promoter. Snowboy with his band The Latin Section create a sound which whilst encompassing the influences from the masters of the genre, is also highly capable of intense swing and verve. Snowboy and the Latin Section have developed a unique and often identifiable sound in Latin dance music, something that is apparently hard to do, especially in the Latin jazz arena. Percussively explosive uptempo original compositions, at times tinged with folklore that continues their quest to keep the music exciting and to keep the dancers dancing.

The Vivaldi Edition, a recording venture conceived by the Italian musicologist Alberto Basso and the independent label Naive, is one of the most ambitious recording projects of the twenty-first century. Its principal objective is to record the massive collection of Vivaldi autograph manuscripts preserved today in the Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria in Turin, some 450 works in ail. The collection includes fifteen operas and several hundred concertos, as weil as sacred compositions and secular cantatas. Most of this music has not been heard since the eighteenth century. The release of more than one hundred recordings, which began in the year 2000, will continue until 2015.

Jazz Fusion, Smooth Jazz | Label: Nova Records, #NOVA 9031-2

Nova Records in the early '90s had the great distinction of having two of the world's most stunning young bass players on their roster: Byron Miller and Brian Bromberg. Bromberg, whose virtuosic mix of funk and mainstream influences have earned him comparisons to Stanley Clarke, has found a magical way to ease his brilliant chops on nine different basses into a very commercial setting. His latest, BASSically Speaking, shows him all aces not only as a consummate player, but as a producer, arranger, and composer as well. Mellow fare like "Take a Walk in the Park With Me" offsets the more up-tempo numbers, and you've never heard "My Funny Valentine" played with this much vigor. Complemented by the likes of Freddie Hubbard and the late flutist Joe Farrell, Bromberg has arrived as the first bassman of contemporary jazz's future.

This is the holy grail of Pink Floyd bootleg recordings. M-502 is the matrix number of the original 2-LP vinyl set that was made in europe sometime in 70's. Although there are many different versions of this show, all of them are sourced from a M-502 vinyl copy. This 2 CD-R set comes from a mint condition original LP, and has been beautifully remastered by the Digital Floyd Archives. This one of the best sounding recordings (especially of this era).

Six other musicians - Joe Locke (vibes), Joel Frahm (saxophone), Jim Rotondi (trumpet), Dwayne Burno (bass), Mark Taylor (drums) and Mark Wilson (drums) - accompanied Deana on the sessions. You will enjoy this Dena's album and sound ... easy listening, mellow and relaxing, yet full of fun.
