Vertigo Resurrected #1
CBR | Vertigo (DC) | Released Oct 20 2010 | 96 Pages (No Ads) | 54.50 MB

I feel I just have to write an intro to this comic book, so here goes... Earlier this year (2010) it was announced that Vertigo would become a strictly creator-owned imprint (that means copyrights still reside in, and subsists with, the writers and artists, not with DC) with all titles that originated in the DC Universe, with the exception of flagship title Hellblazer, returning to the DC imprint. This includes characters related to Swamp Thing, The Sandman, Madame Xanadu, Black Orchid, The Books of Magic, House of Mystery, Sandman Mystery Theatre, The Haunted Tank, The Unknown Soldier, and Shade, the Changing Man. This had already been done with Animal Man, Doom Patrol, and The Human Target and soon many others will follow. Vertigo Resurrected is the herald issue for the new Vertigo, and what an issue it is! Warren Ellis' "Shoot" alone is worth the download for me; and then there are the 8 other stories by some of the best comic book writers and artists in the industry today, in 96 pages of pure enjoyment. If there's one comic book I would buy (if I could get my hands on it) this very moment, this one is it. Vertigo Resurrected #1 could get an Eisner. Everybody's thumbs up!

'Shoot,' Warren Ellis's much-talked about, but never published story, involving schoolyard killings leads this mega-sized VERTIGO RESURRECTION Special. Also included are rarely seen tales exploring the disturbing depths of horror, war, romance and science fiction by Brian Azzarello, Brian Bolland, Garth Ennis, Grant Morrison, Jim Lee, Peter Milligan, Bill Willingham, Bernie Wrighston and more!
