Landscapes of Globalization: Globalized Development in the Philippines

Globalization has been touted as the driving force behind the dynamism of Pacific Asian, and particularly Southeast Asian, economies. Indeed, globalization has, in recent years, become a preoccupation of academic, business and political debate across the world.
The aim of this book is to contribute a theoretically-informed but empirically detailed account of the multiple dimensions of globalization processes as they are being socially constructed and materially experienced in the Philippines of the 1990s.
