CILS Certificates issued by the International University of Siena (Universita per Stranieri di Siena).These certificates are recognized in Italy at the state level, through an agreement with the University of the Italian Foreign Ministry. Certification is carried out by the University for foreigners, the Sienna on the basis of parameters established by the Council of Europe. These certificates are recognized in Italy and the EU.They provide an opportunity for international students who have successfully passed the exam at least Level II and want to do in Italian universities, not to pass the entrance exam of Italian language again
CILS six Levels: A1, A2, UNO-B1, DUE-B2, TRE-C1, QUATTRO-C2. The first two elementary level - A1 and A2 - relevant to foreigners living in Italy as a confirmation of involvement in the process of learning theItalian language.
Examinations for the Certificate of Italian as a foreign language are held twice a year - in early June and in early December in the same time worldwide.
