Doorways in the Sand is a Hugo nominated science fiction novel by author Roger Zelazny who wrote it in one draft, with absolutely no rewrites. It was originally published in serial form in the magazine Analog Science Fiction and Science Fact; the hardback and paperbound editions were first published in 1976. The book is dedicated to Isaac Asimov.
