Once inside the book, all pics are black and white drawings - useful to aspiring artists and illustrators but not as inspiring to the reader.
Although there is a "timeline" and a list of planets with their resident aliens, there's no index of which aliens are found in which SW episodes - a pity.
However, SW experts will know this anyway.
There are several other titles in the Star Wars Essential Guides series, which would be of interest too.
