A Notice:
Why have I used a password for the files even though it is annoying?

By using passwords in the rar files, it is much more difficult for outsiders and non AvaxHome users to peep into the rar files. Especially automated search engines and algorithms which scan for illegally shared content. Using passwords makes file discovery harder for them and therefore longer file life time for more AvaxHome users to enjoy!

Thank you for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience.

What a contradiction !! you want to download an encyclopedia of RELIGION and at the same time you use bad words with no respect to others! if you don't like it all together do not download it ;)

jjmccay is upset because it is difficult w/his low IQ to open a file using a password --- perhaps his mommy or little brother can help?

Thanks uploader for the files.

perhaps you don't understand jjmccay's position. It is cumbersome to download a batch of files and then have to go back to the site and search for passwords (since most are not included in the file).

My take on passwords is this:
- go through the avaxhome site systematically and collect links to download.
- at 2-5 links per page and 15-45 pages per day we're talking about 900-6750 links per month.
- load the links into a good downloader that can search those pages, extract the file hosting links, add them to the queu, even extract some automatically.

This takes a lot of work but once their in the dm you can stream in 40gbs in 8hrs with a decent connection.

However the problem comes in later when we try to sort those books. I good manager that could search inside the files then categorizes them based on DDCC/LOC would be good. But alas I don't know of one.

Organization aside, we are still left with having to rename, say, 20,000 books at 200/hour thats 100 hrs or 1-3 weeks of solid work. Why we load files with improper names is beyond me....

However, before we are even able to rename the files, most must be extracted from archives. This I don't understand why. If the archive contains multiple files, then ok. But on 5300 archives only 3 gbs out of 60 were saved because of archiving - not worth it. Especially considering the fact that my computer using winRar 3.9 took about 8 hours to extract 5300 files. And the real problem is that I couldn't just leave it overnight... I HAD TO SIT THERE THE WHOLE TIME... because WinRar waits for input everytime there is a passworded file.

Now, is it possible to input a list of passwords for winrar to check each time and if not broken then just delete the archive? This would be a slight modification to the program but until that time passwords have caused me a day and a half just to extract 20,000 files.

therefore, (given current programs) passwords are annoying.
