:: Tools ::
1. Foxit PDF editor Pro (my version is 1.4)
2. Nitro PDF
3. (optional) Adobe Acrobat Pro
:: Process ::
* If the books were protected (with passwords) you must decrypt them first (using Passware, or ElcomSoft tools)
** After decrypt (if needed), now you can remove the signatures with 2 ways:
I. Fast remove :: Speacial cases :: Bookmarks, links will be distroyed
If the books are protected will not allow you printing, editing... but you can extract pages, you can extract ALL pages with Adobe Acrobat (Nitro will crash if you are not validate the signature).
II. Save the bookmarks, links as original
1 Using any tool to extract the page that contain the signature (normally in the first page, looking for where the signature field is appear in Acrobat)
2 Open PDFs with Foxit
3 remove the page that contain the signature (normally in the first page, looking for where the signature field is appear in Acrobat)
4 Save
5 Exit Foxit
6 re-Open with Nitro
7 Menu: Documents --> Split file
8 Enter the pages you would like to extract (such 2-47 is mean Nitro will extract from pages numbered 2 to 47 etc). See the help of this app for more controls.
.....
> After all, just join the page you extracted (the page that containED the signature) in the first step with the removed signature PDF in the 8th step.
