Mirrors? Don't care, I'm about sharing so if you have a good mirror, feel free - but really, you don't need to mirror unless it is a different host, I've covered the main ones and the ones Avaxhome requires.

Every file is interchangeable e.g. Part 07 is the same in all hosts, so if for some reason one file 'fails', try another host's Part 07 and so on.

http://techland.time.com/2012/01/19/feds-shut-down-megaupload-com-file-sharing-website/

Needless to say, we won't be using MegaUpload for a while.

Also most of my hosts are 'expiring' and I need to start focusing on two hosts. SO after *this* post (of just 4 now) I'll be sticking with 2 hosts;

Filesonic will be my primary host, it's fast, efficient and reliable.

Suggestions for host #2 to keep?

a common one please, filepost, fileserve, wupload, NOT rapidshare and NOT hotfile (nothing wrong with hotfile, but it seemed no one would ever d/l and it was a waste of time for me to upload)

So future posts will be 2 host only posts, sorry if that puts some of you out, but hammering away at 5 host sites at 4GB each or more is a bit much. Combined with the expiring hosts, I think it's a good time to 'slow down' to 2 hosts for a while/ever ;)

I dare to say that and downloaded all your post. and several that I have still queued, Mediafire is a good option too ... (:

PD: I think most that use Megaupload download managers and use one of the few who do not need to put captchas every time, just open the manager, we started and we're going to work (:

Thanks for the Nashville one sKurt

Regarding the posting I have been using fileserve for some time now without any problems
I use Download Acclerator which runs around 1500 to 2000 KB/s

Hoping you keep them on fileserve if possible

of course I`m happy with any host you choose! but if you ask, I´m perfektly O.K. with filepost & filesonic
Posted By: sKurt Date: 19 Jan 2012 23:18:18
I like fileserve as it allows me to queue 30+ files at once and walk away/go to bed and know when I get back to it, it will be complete.

Filepost, I can only upload 10 at a time, and when I happen to have to d/l my own posts from remote, I get errors and have to 'force' download with jdownloader.

mostly the 10 at a time is a pain. FTP allows more, but not as reliable.

crc password error using both rar software (file #23) and 7zip (file #1). why do people insist on using passwords?
Posted By: fuddsy Date: 20 Jan 2012 00:37:08
sKurt
I'm getting error messages on part11 and part 23 of the rars gives me the following errors I also downloaded them from one of the other sites

! C:\Downloads\GS-MNG-truKs.part11.rar: Packed data CRC failed in Guitar Sherpa - Monster Nashville Guitar - DVD (2009)\Monster Nashville Guitar.iso. The volume is corrupt
! C:\Downloads\GS-MNG-truKs.part23.rar: CRC failed in the encrypted file Guitar Sherpa - Monster Nashville Guitar - DVD (2009)\Monster Nashville Guitar.iso. Corrupt file or wrong password.
Posted By: confusia Date: 20 Jan 2012 00:45:34
I received the same error using winrar as well fuddsy.

sKurt
I just ran the rar files again but this time I chose keep broken files
I ended up getting the ISO then used PowerISO to get the video files
I'm watching the video right now ....will let you know if I have any problems

Posted By: fuddsy Date: 20 Jan 2012 01:12:49
sKurt
Video started off good but the some of the menu selections won't play
I guess those files are corrupt
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 01:39:50
Maybe the encryption is messing with the .ISO...

I did use the unRAR'd .ISO to make this so on my end it works.

And @confusia, I started using the password option because there are 'rumors' of software that will 'find' 'shared' software and delete it.
The way that has been found so far to prevent this is to Double .RAR the post and Password protect it.

Sorry if it inconveniences your downloading fun, but if you use jDownloader, you can store the password in the 'Often used Passwords' section and as jdownloader auto unZip/unRar's the files for you, you shouldn't ever have to worry about passwords.

And as mentioned, I don't think the password is the problem, I think the encryption I used when I .RAR'd it up with Entropy maybe the cause.

sorry, things happen.
Posted By: confusia Date: 20 Jan 2012 02:01:11
fair enough. thank you for the effort anyway, sKurt. :)
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 02:12:12
I just UnRAR'd the original file and opened the .ISO using VLC for my MacBook.

Everything worked just fine, I popped up and down the menu selections and clicked about 4 of the selections from the three menus.

They played just fine.

Try VLC for Windows/Mac and see if that helps. And did anyone try burning it to DVD and seeing if it works on a burnt disc?

If there are still issues, I'll upload to FileSonic/FileServe
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 02:18:10
And I'm uploading 1, 11 and 23 to FileSonic right now. Let me know if it 'fixes' any issues.

Ok FileSonic has the new 1,11 & 23 .RAR files. Let me know.

Posted By: confusia Date: 20 Jan 2012 03:36:40
I downloaded just the 11 and the 23 rar files again and that resolved the issue. thanks for the quick response and again for the effort sKurt. it is appreciated.

sKurt
That was fun
Got Part 23 from Filesonic no problem (small file)
Part 11 was a bit different took four tries to finally get it

The best part is that the 2 files cured the problem and everything works fine

Thanks for the time to solve this......
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 05:53:34
Great, glad to be of service. I'll upload to Fileserve next
Posted By: Georgy1 Date: 20 Jan 2012 06:06:41
sKurt, file 14 is missing from the filesonic link, but no problems for me I downloded file 14 frm the fileserve link and it woked for me.
For the hosts I have an account at Filesonic, Fileserve,Oron,Hotfile & Wupload.
So to reduce the costs I'm gonna stop Hotfile because every Hotfile dl links I found on the net are for 95% broken so bye bye Hotfile, and I'm gonna stop Wupload too and just keeping Filesonic, Fileserve & Oron.

How sKurt I forgot the most important and it's to thank you so much for what your doing and all the time you spend for uploading all these nice stuff here far all of us.
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 06:43:46
Thanks for the heads up @Georgy1 and the praise. I've replaced the 1,11 and 23 files on FileSonic/FileServe and I'll repost 14 on FileSonic... That's strange though. I always check to be sure there are the same number of files on each host, with jDownloader I can cmd/ctrl-A then right click and chose 'split by host' and all the hosts get their own line and I can see if one is different from the other. I guess somehow 14 got canned.

Meh, uploading it now, should be there in a minute or so.

The megaupload's one is a really bad news for me. with jdownloader and megaupload i was able to download 3 or 4 of your dtuff in a night. Now with any other server i have big problem because are slower and specially i can't menage captcha and router reconnection so easily, so i can't automate the download in my absence
Tx anyway for all your incredible work of this months.
Posted By: sKurt Date: 20 Jan 2012 15:24:05
Yeah, I feel your pain. If you find a comparable Megaupload site, let us know!

Posted By: Stretto Date: 21 Jan 2012 04:10:15
I have the same issues Zeero. Not much we can do though ;/ It seems that megaupload was taken down in retaliation for filing a lawsuit against UMG.

Password doesn't work!
Posted By: sKurt Date: 21 Jan 2012 17:16:39
Really @django1234?

All the people above you seemed to make it work.

And over 300 other people have downloaded this and you are the only one with a password problem...

did you try to Copy/Paste instead of typing it in?

Sometimes even copy/paste will trip you up because if you are not careful you'll add an extra space.
Posted By: JoeBloggs1941 Date: 24 Jan 2012 11:04:28
Many Thanks
Wupload all fine
Dvd all good
Posted By: xuoham Date: 08 May 2012 20:16:29
Thank you very much ! Filepost works like a charm with the premium account, got a few ones from the 50 licks, really thank you a big lot sKurt !
But for this one,
GS-MNG-truKs.part13.rar doesn't seems to be valid anymore, FP keeps saying
"We are sorry, the server where this file is located is currently unavailable, but should be recovered soon. Please try to download this file later"
but not to avail.
And i have no idea how to get this #13.rar from fileserve or filesonic, it says only the uploader can download.

Anyway, thanks for sharing !

@xuoham, did you try every few hours or every few days?/
Posted By: xuoham Date: 09 May 2012 00:38:01
I did, frantically :)
Posted By: sKurt Date: 09 May 2012 03:04:57
Try this one.

Same problem ...

i'm in Japan, would it be related ? ("...server where this file is located is currently unavailable...")

never had any problem with the other .rar though ...

thank you very much for your time

still a little hope filepost is gonna fix it
Posted By: sKurt Date: 09 May 2012 13:48:56
There are now 2 copies of #13 there, I'll post to JumboFiles and see if that works.
Posted By: xuoham Date: 11 May 2012 11:08:38
Hi sKurt, still no luck over here ...

I am really wondering if other people, you for instance, are able to retrieve this #13...
Anyway, thanks to you i already have lots of information to digest, so this Monster Nashville can wait ... but it looks yummy though, and since i have all the other 22 (!) .rar it's a little bit of a pity :)
How about this Jumbofile stuff ?

Good day !
Posted By: sKurt Date: 11 May 2012 13:14:06
@xuoham, did you try the jumbofiles host I just posted?

http://filepost.com/files/f8d3c872/GS-MNG-truKs.part13.rar
Posted By: xuoham Date: 11 May 2012 13:37:23
Thank you, i tried but i don't get it:
the link you kindly propose is hosted by filepost isn't it ?
At least that's what it looks like.
But nevertheless, if i follow this link, i end up at filepost and get this same message over and over again:
"We are sorry, the server where this file is located is currently unavailable, but should be recovered soon. Please try to download this file later."

Again, i would like to try fileserve but there doesn't seem to be a way to download, it says only the uploader can. I'm wondering if i would i be able to download if i get a premium account at fileserve. However, i thought it was ok to retrieve a file slowly with a free option as on rapidhsare etc...
Filesonic and wupload links are dead.

Posted By: sKurt Date: 11 May 2012 14:11:09
Nope, even if you get a premium account with fileserve/filesonic you still cannot download

I thought I'd posted the JumboFiles part, let me do it one more time.

EDIT: Well how about that, I went to the filepost site and in the folder where 13 is located it gives me the same error when I try to download it.

AND when I moved it from the folder to the root and tried to download it again, the same error pops up.

so now I'm downloading from Fileserve so I can rehost to jumbofiles/oron
Posted By: xuoham Date: 11 May 2012 16:17:28
Oh noes !

Same with this one : http://filepost.com/files/9be56cd9/GS-IAG-truKs.part10.rar/

Don't know what's up, but here's Oron, and JumboFiles.
