All proofs here can be easily refuted with simple physical reasons. People writing these books are the same who deny Darwin's evolution or search living dinosaurs in Loch Ness.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS BOOK!

Better to read the book and work out for yourself "WHY" the ideas expressed are not supported by the evidence. Read very carefully (2-3 times) the intro and to see where the author is coming from.

Yeah, you're right Parkwood. What people need is to practice their criteria of critisism and reasoning. But once you read many of these "books" you conclude that it's a waste of time refuting again and again the same crazy ideas. These "authors" are not interested in evidence but in gaining money.

You have hit the nail on the head. Its all about the money.

"Bad Astronomy" maybe be written by a man who is passionate about astronomy, but what he writes in the chapter about moon landing and the proofs of it is
doggy crap. I've never read so stupid material about moon landing proofs. OR the book "bad astronomy" could be sponsored and dictated by NASA, and the
writer "as if" an independant one (as if he has nothing to do with NASA except their money).

Doggy crap? If someone feel sceptic or need more proofs for human landing on the Moon my advice is to read the spanish book "La conspiración Lunar: VAYA TIMO!" (Editorial Laetoli; ISBN: 978-84-92422-14-2). In this book a Professor of Physics Literally "knockes out" 50 classic theories supporting the Lunar Conspiracy with simple physical arguments.

THE HUMAN LANDING ON THE MOON IS NOT A BELIEF: IT'S A FACT.

Just 2 STUNNING arguments demonstrates that the man landed on the Moon:

- It's impossible that NASA could trick the signal from the Moon, as the astronauts' conversations that were open and was detected from everybody on the Earth and the instruments that astronauts left there that send radio signals to the Earth for measuring, for example, the distance Earth-Moon. Russians would have discovered any trick in this sense, take for sure.
- Just try to find a geologist capable to demonstrate scientifically that the "huge amount" of rocks (amount impossible to be brought by robots or artificial landers) brought by astronauts are from the Earth and not from the Moon. If you do so, I will then believe in conspiracy :-P

To Anyone who still naively believes in NASA PRopogandistic flicks about so-called "maned moon landing" and to stop others from further blindly believing here's the fact #1
THE SOLAR & SPACE (interstellar) RADIATION, which is DEADLY (for humans not robots) beyond van Allen belt (which protects our earth from it). The belt expands its protecting shield above
about 1000 km the earth surface. Manned space ships are hovering 200 - 250 km above earth's surface (still under protection). The distance between moon & earth some 350 000 kilometrs.
Moon doesn't have the protective shield like eart's van Allen belt. Moon has no atmosphere, it literally exposed to direct solar & space radiation.
To protect any living being from such deadly radiation one needs a 2-meter thick wall of lead (on every side).
There are no (still) any technological gadgets that can protect a man from such radiation.

To proof that a man really was on the moon let's carry out an experiment. Let's take the most zealost apologist of moon landing. Put on him the space suite (taken from NASA).
The suit must be same as on astronauts of that alleged flights. (NASA museum must have it). Then we put him into camera where we recreate conditions similiar to moon's.
Vacuum, temperature about +250 C (if it's a day) or -150 C (if it's a night), and radiation of such quantity as it usual to moon's.
I don't know how many seconds would pass to see him dead, but not so many.
If that guinea pig survives not seconds, but hours (!!!) in such conditions, then i would agree, NASA's astranauts were on the moon.

Well, if that won't convince you, then we have to wait, until one moment in history when NASA comes clean telling "We had to fake our travels to the moon, or USA would
be conquered by commies. That was our patriotic act to protect the very democracy of the world", or some crap like that.

I suppose in the future NASA will find some BIG excuses to justify their lies.


By the way, what simple physical reasons many of you refer to?

If NASA mooned America, then America mooned the World. So, what did the Russians moon?
