Summary

I have been reading these Fairy Chronicles books along with my daughter. Moonflower and the Pearl of Paramour is a delight. Such a wonderful and whimsical fairy tale. As if hearing the story of a brownie prince and his fairy love trapped forever in doom (by the treachery of an evil satyr) were not enough to draw us in, we are next whisked off on the back of a jack-rabbit to search for a Wishing Star, Unicorn and Goddess of Love. The pictures in this book are as beautiful as the flowery language that tells the story. This has become our favorite of the Fairy Chronicles series so far because it is such a beautiful and whimsical book. My daughter loves some of the reality based books by JH Sweet. My girls and I love, love, love the books in this series. This is the newest addition to our Fairy Chronicles collection and it doesn't disappoint. Who wouldn't love to read about a brownie prince and his fairy love trapped in a spell for decades? What young girl wouldn't want to go on an adventure with her friends to try to free the brownie and fairy from the spell so they can get married and live happily ever after? I was made into a little girl again reading this adventure and I wanted to do those things. My daughters are sparring somewhat to be the first to read the book twice. We loved this fairy adventure and we will all be reading it again.
