Linda Bidabe "M.O.V.E., mobility opportunities via education" (Second Edition)

The MOVE (Mobility Opportunities via Education)® Program is designed to help people with severe disabilities learn the skills needed to sit, stand and walk. By combining natural body mechanics with instruction, learning occurs while students are engaged in real life activities. Included in the MOVE Curriculum for children is a "Top-Down" Motor Milestone Test®, an explanation of physical prompts and how to systematically decrease them for more independent movement. Student goals can easily be incorporated into an IEP (Individualized Education Program) or other plan. The curriculum is spiral bound and includes section tabs to quickly locate information.
