The late Richard Courant, headed the Department of Mathematics at New York University and was Director of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences--which has subsequently renamed the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. It appears that you have not located the download button on Flp2share.
It is located on the second page (use page down)and right in the center of the screen. The button is light blue and in a vertical orientated format ie.

Undoubtedly, the best post of 2007 (so far)! The 1st edition is an excellent introductory book to advanced mathematics. Thank you so much for the 2nd edition!

What about mihd doesnt work for you? I must admit the mihd download link used to "hang" when I clicked the download link directly (using Firefox). Instead, if you *right-click* the download link, then click "Save link as..." or equivalent command, it should work without any problems.

I like using both Icefile and MiHD and would normally prefer Icefile as it is less trouble, but lately have been getting "file error" messages when trying to upload to Icefile, not sure why, so this time I chose MiHD.

Remember that on the MiHD screen, the blue underlined "Download Details" is a FAKE link. Instead, click "Request Download Link" just above it, then when it changes to "Download File", click that (or R-click it and select "Save Link As..." in Firefox). That should work for you.

Thanks guys for all the extra mirrors. Personally I wouldn't use IpLoad unless I was really desperate, it's a lot slower than even Mooload!

@poulpe, I agree that the quality of the text could be better, but this is the only file I could locate, so if you come across a PDF or better version, please post here. At least I can read everything in the book!
