The kingdom of Khandaras has fallen into chaos. An unknown force of evil has swept across the land. Plunging it into civil war and terrorizing the populace. This is one of the games (the others were Doom and Wolfstein 3D) that keep me so interested as to finish them (remember, backup continuosly because the dangers can be deadly!)

Does this game work under WinXP?

@mammothby: Again another classic, they really don't(in my opinion) make them like they use to. Thanx man.

@Bukowskit: Actually it is one of the very few old games that XP does not have a problem running. Well as long as you not running like a new dual core CPU and anything else that it too extreame for the poor old game. About a year ago I dusted off my originals put them on my PC (running XP) and it played just fine (well a small glitch here and there but nothing the newest or should I say the newest of the the updates for it could not cure).

Wooaaaaaaaaaaau! DIABLO, one of the most important games in the history of videogames undoubtly, and most influential too over the future RPGs. A very recommended download.

Cant make it run...I have installed it, put my Diablo CD in CD-ROM drive but the game says there is no Diblo CD in my CD drive. Is there any way to make it run or copy the whole CD on my harddisk so that it would not have to access CD drive?

You can install Daemon Tools program, it will emulate a virtual cd drive for you, so you would not need to use original cd to play. check http://www.daemon-tools.cc
