Galaga is an arcade/action style space game. Your aim is to fire at the enemy ships until you destroy them. At the start of each game you have three lives.

Galaga is an arcade/action style space game. Your aim is to fire at the enemy ships until you destroy them. At the start of each game you have three lives.
Be aware of the fact that there are three types of enemies. What you need is concentration and good reflexes. The enemy ships are moving according to pre-defined trajectories,circles and semicircles whereas at the end they are aligned in rows. Then the ships start moving leftwards/rightwards till they reach the end of the window.Each time the enemies reach its edge all rows get one step closer to your position. At the end of each level there is a bonus-ship. If you manage to hit it you will be able to get one of the following bonuses - stronger weapon, bonus live and super bullets, distroying two enemy ships at one shot.

UnRAR the file, double click on the application file (mame32) and scroll down and double click on the ROM you want to play (1000s available (see link below and Google) but I've only included a few)). You can see a list of the ROMs in the "roms" folder. Nothing to install. To get out of the game just hit Escape (Esc) on your keyboard or the Windows key (next to Control (Ctrl)). For playing the real Galaxian ROM here are the instructions: Double click the ROM inside the MAME game window (as mentioned before). Wait until it loads and "Press any Key" comes up. Press any key, wait a few seconds. Then click number 5 to load credits and then press 1 on your keyboard to play single player and 2 for dual player. P = pause. The <- -> an your keyboard is left/right and Control (Ctrl) is fire. That's it!

Works perfect in XP but I don't know about Vista.
