Thanks. The archive contains 40 separate subdirectories. Some fonts are new and interesting. Some fonts are old, dull and primitive sans-serifs, like Helvetica or Futura. There are some useless .GIF and THUMBS.DB files, too.

WOW ... in less than 24 hohurs someone has STINKED (spied, complained) to RapidShare, and my “unfrozen, unthawed and decluttered version“ was deleted! Than's something entirely new for AvaxHome! THeseare just some old TTF fonts! Who might be this little stinker, I wonder?!?!

Well, nothing to worry about. Just 3 minutes, and my CLEAN version is up and kicking again. Here it is:

My little reminder for little stinkers. Just in case you want make more points by yourself - you don't have to stink to Rapids about my file. You can just re-upload my clean version to your server and publish a mirror. And don't forget, you did NOTHING to make or find these files. You just re-uploaded them from somewhere and you didn't even bother to put them in order.

Some of the fonts might be "old and dull" but they are EXACTLY what they say they are. And as such the compilation of the top 40 out of 50 took a bloody long time to put together and I CHOSE not to leave out files just because they were a bit older. My intention was to make it as complete as possible.

Im very sorry and surprised that you felt the need to trash the collection.

Its been less than a month since I made the original post. Is this duplicating common practice ?

also its nothing new, trust me Ive had files posted here deleted within TWO hours.

Its because of crap like this I will no longer be posting fonts on Avax.

I hope you know many of us love your shares! Don't let one person keep you from sharing. He just wanted to be able to take credit for all the hard work you or others do. I thought this was a repeat post but thought the newer ones would still appreciate it. Would be nice if credit were given to the original poster though. Thanks so much for all you do and share here and elsewhere, too.
