Our Gotham typeface, inspired by signs on buildings, celebrates the workmanlike "draftsman's alphabet" at a monumental scale. Similarly unadorned, but at a more intimate size, is the lettering of engineering: the marks on precision instruments, blueprints, stencils and templates. Drawn, stamped, engraved and routed, these forms are sensitively captured by our new Gotham Rounded family, available in four weights (with italics!) that go from friendly to high-tech to cheeky with ease.

Facit is a contemporary sans serif text face. It is designed to be a highly legible and flexible font that does not draw the attention to itself. Instead of being original by itself it is the result of a careful examination of ancient as well as modern formal concepts. “It is by definition impossible to design an un-conventional typeface. Type is pure convention, this is why we can read each other’s written words”, says its designer Tim Ahrens.

A historical revivals and completions of 30 styles from the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. Reminiscent of a time in history when customary rigid black letter forms were being softened and creatively transformed into an explosion of styles that have now become associated with different eras of history.
