Girls Aloud are a pop group from the United Kingdom. Created from TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, Girls Aloud have achieved notable success, with fourteen top 10 hit singles in the British charts and 4 hit albums. Internationally their music has also been released throughout UK, Europe, Australia and Asia. All fourteen of their singles have reached the Top 10 on the UK Singles Chart consecutively; no other girl group has achieved as many Top 10 singles, even inconsecutively. Eleven of Girls Aloud's fourteen singles peaked within the Top 5, edging ahead of the Spice Girls for most Top 5 hits by a girl group in the UK.
