Holly Cole Trio - Don't Smoke In Bed [96/24 Stereo LP Rip]
FLAC | 24bit | 96Khz | Stereo | 860 Mb
Styles: Jazz
Download: RapidShare & FileFactory

This is a flat-out killer record! Highly recommended. Cole is fabulous, period. She explores a number of styles on this, her second album. Adding pop, blues, country and a French ballad to her standard, low-key jazz, Cole demonstrates that not only does she have impeccable taste, but she has the talent to make all of the material sound convincing. On "Get Out Of Town," pianist Aaron Davis gets up while playing and places one of his hands over the piano string while continuing to play with the other. This damped-string effect is an extremely interesting counterpoint to Cole's idiosyncratic, sexy style. This is an all-time audiophile favorite, now cut from the original master on Bernie Grundman's all-tube cutting system and pressed on 200-gram virgin vinyl.

Thanks for this share
Please guide me to use. Files Zip

Winzip doesn't work. Use 7zip instead, as dimsal said (by the way, thank you for this contribution).

thanks dimsal I've just download BetterZip 1.8.1, but I got error 'Unable to unarchive "Holly_Cole_Trio_-_Don_t_Smoke_In_Bed__Classic_Records__1993_-_JP_5006_.zip" into BetterZip Temporary

works fine for me. perhaps some files got corrupted while downloading. I know it's time consuming but try to re-download them again.

@ popa

I am a Mac OS X 10.5 user. Please download and use the latest Stuffit Expander 13.0.3 http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/stuffitexpander.html

Drag and Drop first zip.001 onto Stuffit icon. This worked perfectly for me

In windows these files can be united into one with command line, with a comand like this:
C:\>copy /B file.zip.001 + file.zip.002 + file.zip.003 file.zip
Then just extract file.zip with any archiver.

dimsal,
Its too stupid format cos i cant define
which part has error...
in this case if one or two files inside combined file are broken
i have to reload all parts again :(
can it be solved?
maybe md5?
Posted By: el3434 Date: 24 May 2009 19:13:05
Guthead,
thank you , but its not a problem for me to join files!
i have one corrupted file in joined archive, but i cant decide
which part is broken :(
so have i reload all parts?
if somebody kindly will post md5 check sum for all archive parts it will solve my problem
Posted By: peachfuzz Date: 25 May 2009 01:29:05
@el3434

Do as Guthead suggested. While you can join these files using WinZip, it will still give you an error. Use HJSplit to join them first and then use WinZip to extract the music file.

It works for me time after time.

Here are the MD5:

peachfuzz,
Thank you for your help!!!
I tryed 3 methods to join parts but with the sameresults.
the simplest & fastest is: my.bat located enywhere in %PATH%
-----
copy /B *.01 +*.02 +*.03 +*.04 +*.05 +*.06 +*.07 +*.08 +*.09 all0.zip
copy /B *.001 +*.002 +*.003 +*.004 +*.005 +*.006 +*.007 +*.008 +*.009 all00.zip
-----
Hope, dimsal will publish MD5 if he still going to use this splitting method.
but my suggestion is RAR with 5% to 3% recovery info.
and dimsal, thank you for your sharing!!!

Can't you read the post? IT'S FLAC!!!!
Posted By: kitaro779 Date: 28 May 2009 01:47:53
I used 7-zip(a program) to extract the files without joining the files and it works well.
Posted By: fmk69 Date: 28 May 2009 08:08:30
7-Zip works perfectly, thanks for another great post, dimsal.

This is a good rip, but it's too bad there's so much surface noise on the disk. It would be nice if we could get rip of a cleaner version. The beginning of "Everyday Will Day Will Be Like A Holiday" is particularly bad.
