The US version is missing three tracks. "I Took My Baby Home" had already been licensed to Cameo in the US as the B-side to "Long Tall Sally", so could not be included. "I'm a Lover Not a Fighter" and the instrumental, "Revenge", were held over for the US-only Kinks-Size album.
This is NOT a first pressing "tri-color". Its either a second or third "near mint vintage" pressing. The label is a solid Orange color. It's also a damn fine stereo recording for the era. And to their credit, Reprise did NOT include a fake stereo copy of the title track. The "hit track" remains mono. The pressing is so good I didn't fold "You Really Got Me" down.
Side two starts off with a short burst of crackle but I'm not going to mess with bidding on 10 other copies on Ebay just for this one track. I'm very happy with this rip and hope you will be as well. It's really pretty damn good if'n ya asks me.
Side two isn't quite as loud as side one because of a mad "rave up" on "Got Love If You Want It". I could have edited it but in this case I think the best resolution is to simply turn the volume up for side two.

Thanks tubert!
I'd just like to ask why you can't share the artwork too.
I understand vinyl LP's are not as easy to scan as CD, but even if you didn't have a scanner, your phone would surely have a built-in camera. 4 photos (fr, bk, label-a, label-b) from a cheap camera passed via USB to the computer wouldn't add much more to your effort. Apart from the lovely visual effect I get as the images auto-cycle in foobar2000 as the album is playing, I also find the artwork provides me with critical information for indexing and verification.
Come on...., the recommendation from AvaxHome is at least filesonic....
I`ll like to download some of your fantastic upload, but I can“t be a
premium on all fileservers :-(
Cheers
Filesonic is accessed under the multiupload link!
Many thanks Tubert for this and all your other great posts (on all hosts!)
