Look forward to hearing this rip
and to have a comparison with the other one of Classic Records!
I have lost count of the numerous versions that have been available over the last 2 years, vinyl, DVD-A, digital download etc., etc.. It seems like it pops up every 2 months or so.
It will be good to get a final definitive version................again LOL
As a final definitive version may we please have it in 24/192?
For those who have suitable sound cards or do you think it would make no audible difference with this old recording?
I'm sure this sounds great, but is it superior to the 24/192 direct master tape transfer available here:
hxxp://avaxhome.ws/hraphile/smasters/muddy_waters__folk_singer_hdad.html (Hotfile links still active.)
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks a lot.
Excelent rip again.
Excellent rip thanks again aksman! Even cleaner than the classic 200g
I know now.
Excelent rip again, aksman.
I also had the chance to get all the available formats except the XRCD24, which I have been very tempted to buy.
So far the best recording I heard is the MFSL Gold CD. The studio master version that came out, has more background noise and sometimes too bright.
The other HQ vinyl I got from here (33RPM) is also amazing, it ranks my 2nd place (very close to 1st).
As for this devine 45RPM version, I need to listen carefuly, as we are talking about extreme HQ comparisions, for now it seems to be very similar to the MFSL 24k.
A great thanks to Aksman who has been doing marvelous vinyl rips! :)
Cheers!
In comparison with other issues, there's also a fine vinyl MFSL 1-201 limited edition (200 gr), which shoudn't be ignored.

Thanks again, aksman!
