One of the most important record in german rock history....

Nina Hagen Band is the first album of the Nina Hagen Band, from 1978.

Hagen was born in former East Berlin, East Germany and became one of the country's best-known young stars.

In 1976 she left the country, following the expulsion of her stepfather and ended up in London during the height of the punk rock movement.
Hagen was quickly taken up by a circle that included The Slits and the Sex Pistols.

Back in Germany Hagen formed the Nina Hagen Band and released their eponymous debut album in 1978.
The album includes the single 'TV-Glotzer', a cover of 'White Punks on Dope' by The Tubes but with completely different lyriscs in German.

This release is completely remastered using the original analogue tapes. It includes a printed innersleeve and an insert.

• 180 grams audiophile vinyl
• Re-Mastered from the original analogue tape
• Including printed innersleeve and printed insert

Ripping Note

I couldn't resist to buy this record. It was a favorite of my youth and my original was in really bad condition...
This new release beats the original in almost every way. Better sound, better pressing & hq original cover art.
The coloured vinyl edition is limited to 500 copies worldwide.

True enough, it´s one of the most important record in german rock history...
We played it over and over again, when it was released.
I confirm your "Ripping notes" (as if it´s my own)!
