Thanks mate, ?I usually LOVE your posts but I feel the need to comment on these latest cartoons and the so called DVD quality.
The quality on all of the tom and jerry toons you have posted is NOT EVEN TV quality my friend. It REALLY IS BAAAAAD!!!!!
I just get confused about why you would 'ruin' such a nice large collection, which you obviously want to share for others here, by compressing it to within an inch of its life??
The film quality is so bad that everything on screen is blurry and blocky. I don't know why you call it DVD quality.
I have seen movies encoded for playback on an psp and the quality is brilliant compared to these! (and it isn't brilliant, it's crap!).
Please stop committing such a henious crime against film formats and movie sharing by continuing to compress the life out of these!!!
I won't be downloading another Tom and Jerry movie that is for sure. In fact I regret but I am not going to download any films from you if they have been compressed with windowsmedia format and if they are a suspiciously small size.
There is NO magic formula for making a DVD quality and a tiny filesize. Also, lots of people do not use or like WMV so it is always recommended to compress with DivX or XviD. Then the resulting AVI file can be played back on a MAC, Linux and of course windows.
I give you a tip and that is to use DIVX 3 coded for great low bitrate encoding of cartoons. Try it!
