Please be carefull, this file (WPA_Kill.exe) has a Trojan in it. Therefore, I couldn't download it. Hope anyone have a better experience

This works just fine and so far I haven't had any trouble with it. BTW, it doesn't convert your Home edition into a Pro edition. All it does is bypass activation. I have a legit copy of Home Edition, but it is constantly telling me to activate and all I did was install a VIRTUAL CD-RON program to trigger this. I think that it is wrong to have to call Microsoft to ask permission every time I want to add things to my system. All they should care about is that I'm only using my copy on one computer regardless of its hardware content.

Interesting post, thanks. Maybe what you end up with is not XP Pro but XP "Pro Lite" (Microsoft + oxymoron = Micromoron: watch out for them!). I say this after reading Anthony's The Register article - many thanks. There seem to be more flavours of XP now than you find in an ice cream shop.

of course he is... a litle bit bigger difference between home and pro then just 0,3 MB :P
